[attr="class","nthlftsybdytxt1"]How do you describe pure and utter hell? Surely everyone has a different version of what they may believe it is. Everyone has their own demons that would come into play for these scenarios. Bastina a once feisty and spunky girl had been reduced to a broken shell over the course of a month. She was never good at listening so when Mouse and Vince insisted she never go out alone. Well, she did what any 18 years old would do and ditched them to go shopping.
Sure in hindsight she had spent a few weeks kicking herself for it but at this point, she was mostly out of the fight. She lived chained to a wall in Fuego's luxury home. A collar around her neck attached to a 15-foot length of chain. It was humiliating and most nights she was forced to sleep in a dog bed on the floor. Every night Fuego came home and told her how sad her boyfriend Vince had looked.
How the man was still trying to carry some glimmer of hope that she would be found. All this he would whisper in her ear as she was pinned face down into the bed. It was all she had to think about while being brutalized. Honestly, she was really just numb to everything at this point. Her body was beaten and there were bruises marbling her tan skin. Cigarette burn scars and new wounds on her chest. Bastina used to have fought in her but with lack of being fed and given water, she just didn't have it in her.
When Two of Fuegos men came in she could hear them speaking in Spanish as they took the collar off her. They spoke of her being useless and how Fuego ordered she be executed and dumped back at the clubhouse. Her body wanted to fight but she just had nothing left and she quietly rode in the back of a suv. When they got out to some abandoned building they drug her out of the vehicle. The little bit of strength her mind could muster called on a swarm of hornets.
It was enough to distract them as she grabbed their keys and drove towards safety. Her eyes barely stayed open on the trip and right as she got to the lot she passed out. The car was still moving and came to a sudden stop when it hit a brick wall outside the club in the lot. Her body slumped over on the steering wheel causing the horn to go off.
NOTES: Timed 1 Month after The Kidnap of bastina Falco
Vince sat in his and Bastina’s room, his body weary and tired from all the bodies he’d been breaking. A month had passed since Bastina had been taken from his arms and he felt terrible. He was frustrated, with himself, with Bastina being so stubborn. He had told her to wait for him. He just needed to run a fucking errand and they could’ve done whatever she wanted for the rest of the day. He had to keep a cool head though as he tried his best taking over while searching for her everywhere he could.
He had to be forced to sleep last night because of how many nights he stayed out. He went knocking on doors, intimidating as many people as he could to get some form of answers. He hated having to deal with Fuego though. Even on that night of the barbeque he knew something was wrong. Finding her body overheating laying on their bed… he had panicked and had to force her into a cold shower. He stood under that icy spray until she was feeling fine and had held her all night.
Vince was holding out hope for how strong and stubborn she could be, but he also feared the worst. Every unsuccessful search he drank more and more until last night. Getting up from his bed he dressed and slipped the cool leather of his jacket over his shoulders. He started walking out until he heard a loud crash and booked it out the doors. Seeing an SUV crashed into the side of the building he ran over to check on whoever did this. The horn was still going as he got closer and opened the door.
Surprise overtook Vince as he quickly moved and pulled Bastina from the seat of the car. She felt so light in his arms and her features looked slightly slimmer. His green eyes looked over the bruises on her form and anger boiled beneath his skin. The asshole that did this is going to pay, and he would do it slowly and painfully. Carefully he shifted her and ran to his car. Getting her safely into the passenger seat he got in and drove her to get immediate attention.
He made phone calls between all the questions the doctor’s and nurses asked. Once it was all done he was able to move into her room. Vince wasn’t a man to cry. No one had really seen him lose his composure over anything. But seeing Bastina like this, weak and beaten. Sure he was pissed, he wanted to punch the lights out of whoever did this. Until they begged to be killed. But now… he felt so terrible that he couldn’t protect her from this. He moved a chair closer to her bed and sat. Gently he took hold of her hand as she slept in the bed and a stray tear tracked down his cheek. Then another followed until he crying fully. “Don’t leave me Chickie… I need you.”

[attr="class","nthlftsybdytxt1"]The once spunky and fiery tempered girl had been reduced to a dried up skeleton of her previous self. Bandages covered the physical wounds and a iv fed vital liquids and nutrients as the days passed of her sleep. There was no guarantee she would make any sort of recovery. Even with her body healing and getting back to normal. It was her mind that was traumatized and it was withdrawn. Deep into the dark places where no hope came to lie.
The club spent a lot of time at the hospital waiting for her to wake up. Mostly they were there in case someone tried to sneak in and finish the job. Carson, The big bad leader was geting out of prison today. Though there was no welcoming party but only Lulu outside the prison to pick him up. So much had gone on that no one had told him what happened to his daughter. Not that the two were really close but they were still blood.
For the first time in days after everyone stepped out of the room there was movement. Fingers stretched and eyes fluttered into blurry vision. Blue eyes traveled down her arm to see bandages and a hand griped around hers. There was a panic in her mind as she jerked away and screamed. It was Vince who was woken up in a startled state as she tossed her pillow at him. The memories all locked away in her brain to prevent her from reliving the trauma.
The doctor rushed in along with nurses to usher Vince out. After a exam the doctor came to the lobby to find all the Fools waiting. "Family of ms Falco?" He spoke up and glanced at Vince and Carson who stepped forward. "Right well it seems she is suffering from a case of amnesia. Its quite common with severe cases of trauma. Only time will tell how extensive the damage is." He spoke before giving a pat on the shoulder to vince and walking away.
NOTES: Timed 1 Month and 8 days after The Kidnap of bastina Falco
A lot of things changed while Carson was in prison. The club fractioned off and splintered into two seperate chapters. A family that was once unseperable now stretched it's reach as far as Buffalo New York. Carson got out of prison and realized he wasn't the free man that he was supposed to be. His daughter was in the hospital. Not a daughter he was very close with. Carson didn't have a very personal relationship with any of his three kids. Hell, Carson didn't even know about any of his kids besides Bastina.
Carson was a busy man. He didn't always have time for romance. He certainly never made time for relationships. Bastina coming into his life was the first time in his whole life that he had been tied down to an idea. Beyond his club. Beyond his loyalty to his crew, Carson was a free spirit. He moved down the hall of the hospital. Passed the nurses station, and down the hall. Silver Shadow was leaning on the wall outside Bastina's room.
Truthfully, he didn't know how he felt, about anything. How he felt about his own daughter. This was going to be the first time he ever saw her without 4 inches of bullet proof glass between them. He never even knew about her until she tracked him down while he was in prison. She confronted him in the visitor's room with a birth certificate and a paternity test. From there he only felt it right she run the club in his place while he was in prison. It was a big leap of fucking faith, and surely she could have fucked everything up, but she hadn't.
Not that he knew anyways. The club was fractioned off and in two groups, but that was more between Johnny and Lulu. Carson rode to the hospital with Lulu without asking about it, out of respect. Johnny and Lulu were as close to him as actual children. He looked at both of them as his kids and he had become sort of a father figure to both of them. Now he had an actual daughter that needed him. Carson swallowed hard as he stood outside her room. He didn't even know what he was about to say when he stepped in there.
"Hey bossman." Silver Shadow said with a sigh. Hugs were exchanged and Carson's eyes never left the number on the door. Room 222. "It's rough in there. She's a tough kid though, she's going to make it." Carson wiped his mouth with his hand and nodded slowly. "Guess I should go in there." He turned to face Lulu. "Fool's meeting tonight. I don't care what chapter you're in, you show up. I gotta go take care of my daughter. We'll talk later." He said and without waiting he pushed his way inside.

Being forced from the room when Bastina woke up throwing pillows and other things around was shocking to say the least. Vince had no idea what was going on while waiting out in the waiting room. His hands where fidgety, he couldn’t stop pacing, running his fingers through his dishevelled hair. Ever since they got here, Vince hadn’t tried doing anything.
Short trips down to the vending machine for food and drinks. That was about all he could stand to do. He didn’t want to leave her side ever again. If he did for too long he didn’t know who else would try and hurt her to finish off the job. None of this happened until that shady ass dealer came in to make some money. He had been thinking about busting some of his goons chops until Bastina had found her way back.
Vince felt as if he failed her. He should’ve found her and what’s worse is Carson was here. First day out of the cage and now his daughter was in the hospital because his brothers in arms couldn’t keep her safe. But that wasn’t what made him as nervous as thinking about if he knew of the relationship that he and Bastina shared.
Listening to the doctor explain what has happened Vince was trying to think of the best way possible to explain how this all happened. But there was no such words forming in his head. “Thanks Doc.” He said and nodded as the doctor patted his shoulder. He wanted to head in there so badly, but Carson moved quicker and the door closed behind him. Letting out a sigh he took a seat in a chair, leaning his elbows on his knees, his face hidden in the palms of his hands.
Black bags hung under his eyes not even his adaption could stop the effects of fatigue. “I told you, you could never protect someone.” The familiar voice spoke in his mind. Sitting up right he looked around to see the slim figure of his ex standing a few feet from him. “Jessica…?” He blinked and she was gone. But his brain couldn’t decipher if she was really there or just a figment of his imagination.
As a parent the worst thing imaginable is getting that one phone call. The one saying that your child died and funerals were in order. Truth be told is that no parent should ever have to bury a child. Its not the right order of things but Leilani had gotten the dreaded call. It was a matter of 30 minutes and she was in a plane headed to the states. Bastina had in fact died a few times in the O.R as doctors tried to fix her bones. The flight was torture and with layovers it took her a full 24 hours for the trip. It was pure hell even in first class the time was so slow.
Once they hit the ground she was in a car and straight to the hospital she went. Arriving at the tall building and moving inside escorted by body guards. When she got up to her daughters room she could see the club members all posted outside and Her eyes found carson as he had just walked in the room. It was weird seeing him after so many years but she followed.
The man she knew as vince from photos was posted in a chair outside the door. Leilani had nothing to say to him and quickly moved inside. Bastina perked up seeing her mother and leilani was on the bed in record time. As she hugged her daughter, eyes wandered over to Carson. "Carson Falco. Its been a long time." The woman spoke as she cradled her whimpering little girl.
You can get used to a whole lot of shit. Honestly Carson had seen it all. There wasn't much that could rock the foundation and leave him wondering where it could all go from there. This was one of those things. Carson had only ever seen his daughter twice. Once in prison when she came to visit him. The interaction was less than warm and friendly. He had no idea she existed and when the guard told him his daughter had come to see him he was more than a little shocked.
When his eyes first met hers he could feel the resemblance. The blood flowing through his veins churned and groaned because he knew she was his. That was why without a second though he put her at the head of the table. Without knowing a single thing about her, it was her bloodline that told him she was strong enough to lead. She was a fucking Falco. The other time he had met his daughter was right now. He was equally as speechless as he had been that first meeting. What do you say? He felt partly responsible, but on the other hand he was ready to lay into his guys for not keeping her safer.
There was a sort of pride there. Hidden beneath all the bullshit, that she had taken this beating and was still refusing to roll over and die. She was tough. Carson cracked his knuckles in anxiety and the letters tattooed across his fingers almost screamed out in irony. On one hand the letters inked across his fingers said the word "Fuck" on the other the words "Fate." Carson didn't believe in serindipity, coincidence, chance encounters or even karma. If Bastina was in his life, it was because she was meant to be part of this wild family.
He stood quietly watching her sleep, or pretending too. Some nurse came in and suggested that Carson leave so Bastina could have her rest. Carson's eyes burned into her sending her scurrying away with fear and regret. You couldn't pry him out of this room with a fucking crowbar. He walked quietly to the side of the bed. The steady beeps and blips of machines and monitors clouded his thoughts, but still a single phrase scratched it's way from the deepest part of his mind and fought it's way to the surface. "This......Can't go unpunished." The voice was not his own. It belonged to Mr. Scratch. A infectious little parasite that was his burden and his curse.
Mr. Scratch lived inside his head, and occasionally hijacked his body for a little joy ride. The mutation in Carson's DNA turned him into Jekyl and Hyde. A vessle for this sick satanic fuckjob of a creature, but he could be useful. Jekyl being the 'wild mannered' criminal ringleader who took no shit and was anything but forgiving of betrayal.... And Hyde was Mr. Scratch, all the worst parts of evil that ever corrupted his soul. He was two people, literally in one body. That was his mutation and the other being existed not in this world, but came to him from another dimension where dark and light battled and only darkness saw victory.
Mr. Scratch was in his head. His thoughts mixed and mingled with Carson's own and he had to fight to keep his mind secluded and private from Mr. Scratch's poison. Though, here he agreed with him. This can not go unpunished. "No, It can't...." Carson agreed out loud; answering a statement that was uttered by no one. His fingers of his right hand reached down and lovingly stroked the backside of Bastina's hand. The soft light of the room shined on his finger's tattoos and as their hands met it read "FATE".
Carson's hard face was softer. Sympa-fucking-thetic even! "I'm sorry babygirl." He muttered. An admission of guilt and an honest apology. Carson's eyes shifted to the monitor as her heartrate sped up slightly. A smile warmed him a bit as he believed it meant that even though she was unconsious she had heard him somehow and maybe he forgave her a little bit. Wishful thinking of an ex con. He didn't know that she was wide awake this whole time. Carson sighed and reached in his brown leather jacket for his cigarettes. Pulling one out he moved to the other side of the room to light up just to calm his fucking nerves.
That's when the door opened and Lelani walked in. She was on Bastina in no time flate and Carson couldn't believe how good the years had been to her. Fuck's sake she looked like she hadn't aged a day. He stood in the corner with his quiet cigarette while she hugged and kissed the only good thing he had manged to make with his life. when she turned to him he smiled at her. "Yeah, it has." He said dropped the cigarette ans smothering it out with the hell of his boot. "You look good Lani. Damn good." He added. Not that now was the approriate time to be putting the moves on her, but he was struck in that moment. Seeing Lelani again struck a cord. He was a man fresh out of prison and he came home to a family. Not just his Fool's family, but an actual family and they were god damn beautiful both of them.
