Keith Brecks, not much bad could be said about him. At least from those that know him better than first time encounters. He can be a reasonably greedy guy, but only when he knew his family was taken care of. Thankfully, today was one of those reasonably selfish days, but not for himself. For his little sister Ellie and his other siblings. Although Donnie rolled his eyes on their way to Chuck E Cheese. He’d give some off hand comment about not being able to do this when he was little. “You know exactly why Donnie, now sit up and put the phone down.”
Donnie rolled his eyes as Xavier, Tommy, and Ellie were talking excitedly about what they would be doing there. He couldn’t help but to laugh at them a little. “Please tell me we’re going to be getting as many pizzas as we want!” Ellie squealed. Keith scoffed a little as he held back a chuckle pulling into the parking lot. “Pizza? Pizza? Who said you got pizza?” Ellie’s lower lip jutted out in a cute little pout, and Keith laughed. “Yeah yeah yeah. I’m gonna get you your pizza. You like anchovies right?” Ellie gave a disgusted face and he laughed even harder.
Donnie just rolled his eyes as Tommy and Xavier laughed at her dismay. Getting out of the car they made it into the large play area. Grabbing Tommy and Ellie by the shoulders he escorted them to a picnic like table. Donnie laid on the bench seat and pulled out his phone. He didn’t understand why he had to be pulled along with the kiddie’s. He was in his last year of high school. Being 19 and being held back a year was humiliating enough. Now he might get seen by a girl here with his family and that was just a no go.
“Xavier, Tommy, Ellie. I want you all to have fun, but stick together. Someone does something you don’t like. You don’t hit, you don’t scream, you come straight back to me okay?” Keith gave them the stern daddy look and they all nodded. “You got it Keith.” Xavier said and off they ran. “Why can’t you trust me like that?” Keith gave Donnie one of those looks that said you know exactly why and Donnie shut his mouth. “You can be a moody little shit all you want. When you show me you can be responsible maybe you’ll get your freedoms back. But as long as you don’t work, and as long as you live under my roof, you follow my rules and regulations.” Donnie scratched the back of his neck refusing to make eye contact.
An hour or so later Keith had ordered a few pizzas for him and the kids. But on the way back he heard someone crying out. Looking around he found a little girl crying her eyes out. His heart clenched hearing the hurt in those sobs. Walking up to her he kneeled down with a soft smile. “Hey, what’s a pretty girl like you doing by yourself?” He asked, sitting on his butt to see her eye to eye. He looked her over and guessed she was about four or five with how small she was. “I… I can’t find sissy!” His smile turned sympathetic, she got lost in this sea of kids and screaming strangers. “It’s okay. I’m sure she’s around here somewhere. My name’s Keith, can you tell me your name?”
Her little shoulders shook as she tried calming down and stuttered out her name. “Jataya. That’s a pretty name. Okay, let’s go looking for your sissy.” He said and grunted as he got up. He was getting too old for the up and down motions. He chuckled some at his own thought and knowing his powers wouldn’t allow that to happen. He held his hand out for her to take and began walking slowly with her. “What’s your sissy’s name?” “Lulu…” She said softly as he pulled her up into his arms to look over everyone’s heads. “Let’s go find Lulu.”

Everything was still a adjustment for her and ding it alone was even harder than she had expected. Johnny had still been around trying to talk to her but it just didn't feel like it was gonna change. Why couldn't he see that it was time to make that next step? Did it mean maybe he just didn't wanna have a ball and chain forever? Was he hoping to meet someone new without all the baggage? Sure he came to the doctor appointments for their babies but she just wasn't sure about the future between them for the first time in a decade. Maybe she had changed from her love of parties and recklessness. [break][break]
Today she was off work after a early morning meeting so she took advantage of that to attempt to put a crib together. It didn't go well and her frustration had her crying over a dropped spoon later when she stopped for a snack. When she got Jataya from her enrichment classes the progress report was great so lulu agreed to go do something fun. Chuckie Cheeses was some place she had never been living with their junkie whore of a mother. Lulu never got to do anything like that as a child.[break][break]
Pulling into the lot she fixed her makeup and grabbed her sister. Walking inside with the little girl beside her she got tokens and went to teach her some fun games like whack a mole. Of course lulu helped her win Tickets and after a while she was at the counter looking at the menu. After a few moments she looked down and panic filled her eyes seeing her little sister gone. Looking around kids darted everywhere and this place was the mother of all chuckie cheeses. "Jataya?!?!"[break][break]
Moving through the kids she searched every place that they had been and even paid some kid to go look in the tubing and slides. Of curse the little shit never came back so she found herself crawling through the cramped spaces herself. Her heart was racing when she still couldn't find her and she came out down the slide. Looking around she finally spotted her with a man who was talking to a worker. Quickly darting through the crowds she went to her knees by her crying sister. "Oh my god. I am so sorry sweetie. I was so worried please dont ever walk off without sissy okay?"[break][break]
Drying the girls tears she stood up and looked at the man who had found her. For a moment she was kinda at a loss for words looking at his handsome features. Tattooed arms and what looked like a muscled physique definitely got her heart racing for a different reason. "That you so much for helping her... I'm so new at this and she just wanders of so much.." Lulu spoke in a soft tone as a smile tugged at her lips. "I'm Lulu. You already know Jataya. Are you here with your wife and kids?" She asked casually asking for a bit of info so she didn't waste her time and end up looking foolish.
Keith held Jataya up to get her a better view of the place to see if she could find her sister Lulu that way, but there were so many people she could discern her face from them all. Placing her back on the ground he walked up to the counter to a worker. “Excuse me, this little girl got separated from her sister. Is there any way we can get on the speakers?” He asked. The worker was about to hand over the mic on her cash register when Jataya let go and someone took her into their arms.
Looking down he about panicked until he saw the recognition in Jataya’s face as she smiled at the woman wiping her tears away. He looked to the worker, “Thanks hon, but I think we found her.” The girl behind the counter blushed some as she looked him over and he gave a sweet smile before turning back to the beautiful raven haired woman. “Oh, no need to thank me. I’m just glad you two are able to find each other again.” He knew that fear of losing sight of his siblings.
It happened with Donnie more than once, but with Jataya, it hopefully got through that not standing by her sister she wasn’t safe. Hearing the comment of being new to this, his heart went out to her. He knew the hardships she was about to face raising a child, even if it’s a sibling. He was captivated by her beauty and the few tattoos he saw he definitely wanted to get to know her more. But he knew he had to be smart about it.
“I’m Keith.” He introduced himself with a charming smile. A soft chuckle thundered from deep in his chest as she asked about a wife and kids. “No wife, no girlfriend. Just me and my siblings. What about you? No husband to help out, or a boyfriend?” He asked as his eye looked over her hands.
He didn’t see a wedding band, but he knew some women could be devious. He was only being cautious for his own good, but he found himself peering at her beautiful features and those piercing blue eyes. “Do you have a table to sit at? If you want you can join up with us. We’ve got a few pizzas on the way.” He offered and helped her to her feet. Looking around he watched as Xavier, Tommy and Ellie ran back to the table. It was almost comical really, like they knew pizza would be there soon.
Moving over to the table he motioned for Lulu and Jataya to sit with them. Ellie looked at Jataya and smiled. “Hi! I’m Ellie! Oh my gosh you’re so pretty! You’re both really pretty!” She said excitedly. There was hope in Ellie’s eyes as she looked to Keith. All he could do was shake his head and chuckle more. His little sister was tired of being the only girl in the family. At least the one worth while female in their small apartment home. “Ellie calm down. Everyone this is Lulu and her little sister Jataya. Lulu, Jataya, this is Donnie, Xavier, Tommy and Ellie.” He said pointing to each respective kid.

Standing up she flattened out the skirt she was wearing and fixed her tank top that had road up and a bit. Underneath there was a baby bump forming quickly and soon tank tops would be an option anymore. Listening to Keith speak and say there was no woman in the picture made her smile. Though it quickly faded when he asked her about a husband or boyfriend and she felt the sting of painful anger in her heart. "No, I recently broke up with a long time boyfriend. He just isn't ready for the commitment of a family." Lulu spoke in a soft tone trying not to sound hurt even if it showed in her eyes.[break][break]
The invite to join him was one that made her cautious because she was already hurting. The man who was supposed to be her forever was just too interested in his wild party life to settle down permanently. "What do you say Jataya? You wanna go eat pizza with Keith?" Lulu asked as she watched Keith head back towards his table. 'Yes, please!! Can we??' It was easy to see the excitement in her eyes which made Lulu smile. Walking over to the Table she helped Jataya into the Booth near a little girl who seemed really excited. [break][break]
"Thank you, Ellie. You are very pretty too." Lulu complimented and watched the Girls eyes light up as she slid into the booth next to Keith. "Nice to meet all of you." Her tone was soft and friendly as she looked to see the workers bringing the drinks she had ordered for her and jataya. Pizza also came to the table and the kids all got noisy and super excited. Lulu helped Keith get everyone plates of pizza before sitting back in the booth.[break][break]
"So Keith, Have you lived in New York all your life?" Lulu asked as she took a bite of pizza and wiped a bit of sauce off her lips. Glancing at the kids and seeing them all just chatting and having fun her attention turned back to the man beside her. It felt a bit odd after ten years of being with one man to be eating with another but it beat being alone. Though honestly A relationship with anyone but Johnny wasnt likely possible with her power. Sometimes she just didnt think about her own strength and had broke Johnny's hand or something by accident. This guy was likely human and not able to be something she could be with.[break][break]
The more she began to think about the past she realized that it was gonna be hard to move on. How did you casually bring up the fact that you had killed people in cold blood for bad reasons? Hell she probably had more blood on her hands than alot of the Fools in general. It was a part of her past that recently she started to feel ashamed of. As Lulu thought about her past the smile on her face had turned to a frown as she zoned out.
Keith’s eyes hadn’t missed the slight bump forming, or the smile that faded to a frown at the mention of her previous relationship. Why someone would willingly go and leave her to take care of her little sister while worrying over being pregnant was beyond him. He wanted to bash the bastards jaw in. “I’m sorry to hear that. He’s the one missing out though on something amazing.”
Keith had relationships in the past, but they didn’t last for very long because his life revolved around his family. His last girlfriend didn’t believe him when he said Ellie was his sister he had to take in otherwise she’d have been stuck in foster care and he didn’t want that for her. She needed to be with family and that was over six years ago. He watched as Jataya and Ellie really hit it off and smiled.
He was happy to see his sister making friends with someone younger than her. She blushed and smiled to Lulu as she got her compliment returned. “It’s nice to meet you too ma’am.” Xavier said with his usual childish charm. He was just entering his sophomore year and he was still that innocent boy most girls could definitely fall for if they only liked good boys while at that age. He’d find someone eventually.
The workers dropped off drinks and pizza as everyone got settled. Keith watched as Donnie’s attention turned from his phone to Lulu. “Oh, the pleasure is all mine.” He said, trying to make himself sound a little more manly with a deeper voice.
“Why does your voice sound so funny?” Ellie asked turning her attention from Jataya for a moment. “You’re not getting sick are you?” Tommy asked holding up his fingers in a cross. “No germs! I got a dance to go to this week for school! Jaime finally said yes, I don’t need to get sick!” He said and Donnie rolled his eyes trying to hide the light blush on his cheeks. “Cramping my style douche.” Donnie muttered under his breath. Keith laughed and pulled Donnie into a headlock. “Be nice to your brother. Just because he has better game than you at that age, don’t mean you can just be a jerk.”
Donnie started freaking out, “Keith, let go! My freaking hair took forever to get gelled this way! Your armpit stinks! I can’t breath!” He said, but all the while he was laughing. He might’ve hated being teased by his older brother, but he knew it was out of love. Keith just smiled and let him go with a nugy and Donnie fixed his hair before grabbing his own pizza and Keith helped pass out slices to everyone else.
He turned his attention to Lulu, taking a bite of pizza as she asked about how long he’s lived in New York. Pulling a napkin close he wiped his mouth and beard. “I’ve lived here all thirty years of my life.” His brooklyn accent light as he spoke. “But I’m guessing you aren’t from around these parts. When’d you move here?” He asked and sipped his soda and watched her face closely. She seemed to be in deep thought as she hadn’t answered yet. His phone went off in his pocket and pulled it out. His siblings froze for a bit as they looked disappointed towards it.
Keith was supposed to have the full day off today, but his agent for his fights didn’t seem to care at all that he had a family to watch over in this crazy psychotic world. “Sorry… I gotta take this really quick.” He apologized as he answered the phone and slid out of the booth. “This is Keith… yeah…” He sighed hearing his agent on the line and pinched the bridge of his nose. “I told you I need the day off for my family. We have these family days every two weeks, how is that hard to remember?” He asked in aggravation.
If he could beat this guys face in he totally would to collect all the money he had kept from him in a means to keep Keith fighting. He was using his own family against him and he couldn’t bring himself to kill the guy, but he was at his wits end with this. “Listen, baby, we gotta have you lose a round.” ‘What the hell!?’ He thought and walked out the front door. All his siblings watched with sad eyes as they followed with their eyes and heads to see him leave. “He’s gonna have to fight again…” Ellie said dejectedly. They all seemed to lose their appetites as they worried about if they had to leave early for him to get ready.
Donnie pointed to the slices on their plates. “Come on guys. It’s okay, he’s gonna tell him to shove it up his butt and come enjoy the rest of the day with us. Ellie eat some more of your pizza. Same for you Tommy, then you guys can go and show Jataya your cool hiding places in the tunnels.” He said, doing his best to get their minds off of it. “If that’s okay with you Lulu.” He said looking to her, his blue eyes looking a little desperate. Normally though Keith couldn’t say no, not because he was a nice guy, but because he knew he needed the money for his family to live where they lived. Otherwise it was back to a two bedroom apartment where he slept on the couch and the kids had to share rooms.
Ellie couldn’t bring herself to smile though as she finished her piece of pizza. Tommy sat there and ate slowly as Ellie sat up on her knees to look towards the windows again and saw Keith now hanging up the phone. Keith glared at his phone as he was forced into another fight and ran his fingers through his hair. That’s when he saw the man in front of him. He pulled out a gun and raised it to his head level. “The hell-” His sentence was cut off as he was shot in the head, then the chest five more times. This was an attempt at his fighting enemies hiring someone to rough him up. But the man was a coward and turned to wanting to just make the fix permanent.
Keith’s body fell to the ground limply, his phone flying from his hand as the man continued to shoot and Ellie screamed in horror. Everyone ducked for cover as Donnie reached over and pulled her to sit. “Ellie, Ellie, calm down. It’s okay.” Donnie, Xavier, and Tommy all knew Keith’s powers at healing himself, but Ellie had never seen it work before. She couldn’t keep from crying and she held Jataya to keep her from standing to see what happened.

Lulu sat back and watched Keith interact with the siblings of his and it made her smile. The oldest was tryna to sound manly and she laughed a bit. "Well, aren't you such a handsome gentleman." She spoke and winked at him causing him to blush more. When the kids went back to their own little world she gave all her attention to Keith. "Well, we've been here about a month and a half. Moved here for a job at the new Fashion magazine downtown. I'm the editor a chief for a company based in paris." Lulu spoke as she took a bite of the pizza but his phone went off and she decided to stay quiet.[break][break]
Everyone of the kids seemed to tense up and she watched as he headed outside. "I'm sure everythings okay guys just enjoy your pizza." Blue eyes darted back to the window where she saw him on the phone. "Yes thats fine, Jataya can go play when you guys finish your food." Lulu was a bit distracted and with good reason she noticed a man pull a gun. "Everyone get down!!!" She ordered as the shots were fired and she darted out of the booth and towards the door. By the time she got there Keith was on the ground and the man was running. [break][break]
Lulu knew she couldnt do anything about Keith but she darted down the sidewalk. A full run in stillettos wasnt something everyone could manage but she was a pro. The guy with the gun darted down an alley and she picked up a garbage can and flung it at him. He fellt to the ground with a grunt and a thud. Closing the distance between them he was reloading the gun before she grabbed his arm and broke it with a effortless snap.[break][break]
Screams of agony escaped his lips and he started cussing and calling her a monster. Picking up the gun she aimed and shot his left knee cap out. Blood splattered on her and her face was cold and ruthless. "Who sent you to kill him?" The tone from her mouth was cold and unfeeling. 'Fuck you bitch!!' He cried in pain and she just sighed before shooting his other kneecap. Pulling out her phone she called Buster first like it was any other day. Its not that she didnt trust william to get things done but he asked questions.[break][break]
Buster was there within moments and he looked down at the bleeding sap on the ground. "Babydoll, Do me a favor and take this fucker to my house. Make him nice and comfy in the basement and ait for me there." Lulu spoke in a polite and almost eerie distant voice. The expression on her face stayed vacant and soon the man and his gun was gone. All that was left was the puddle of blood at her feet. Looking down at her phone she dailed Johnny but he didnt answer. "I'm gonna kill someone tonight. Wanted to tell you before Buster got the chance but knowing him hes already on the phone with you so fuck it." The message was left in his voicemail and when she turned around Keith was there.[break][break]
It stunned him for a moment as he felt the continual pain of being shot over and over. Once the bullets stopped the wounds lit up with a red shocking light. His eyes picked up the figure of Lulu as she ran past him after the man that shot him. He already had an inkling of who sent the guy, they'd been long time rivals since Keith had started in the fighting ring. He didn't need her getting dragged into his problems.
Slowly he sat up and looked in the window as Donnie looked out the window. He gave a wave as other onlookers stared in astonishment and fear. Little Ellie looked with tears in her eyes as she cried, but Donnie kept her from running out. Cracking his neck Keith slowly got up as he sneezed out a bit of blood from his previous head wound. That asshole was going to answer a few questions. Or just confirm his suspicions.
Hearing the gunshot he darted down the walkway and looked around the corner to hear another gunshot. His adrenaline ramped up as he panicked hoping to not see Lulu dead on the ground. But what he saw was the total opposite. The guy was crying on the ground both knees shot out as she held the gun and pulled out her phone. Next thing he felt was a breeze and suddenly another person was there with her.
Keith didn't know what to think as she gave the guy orders and soon the gun and man were gone from sight. Moving around the corner she put the phone to her ear again and spoke. He didn't like it one bit. He was a grown man who could take care of his problems. He just didn't have the money or resources to hide his family until they were dealt with. They knew where they lived and his agent wasn't the best at keeping things confidential. Keith leaned his shoulder against the brink of the wall as she finished her call. “I'm not much for having a woman clean up the messes I make.” He said as she turned. There was surprise on her face mixed with a vacant look of a killer.
He knew that look. He'd seen it on himself before a fight, and before killing the same lowlifes that were hired to rough him up. “You don't need to worry about that guy. Probably just some low life thug looking to get paid by some higher up that I fight against in the ring.” He said casually. Reaching into his pocket he pulled out a red bandana and walked up to Lulu. Reaching out he wiped the blood specks from her face. He felt terrible for this to happen now. Normally the guys hired attacked at night when he was having a smoke. His eyes reflected the regret he felt. “Let's get back to the kids and get out of here.”
Keith placed a hand on her upper back gently as he watched her close her jacket to hide the blood on her shirt. “Hope you can forgive me for ruining your fun day with your sister.”

Vacantly her eyes stared at Keith as he stepped closer and started to dab away at blood splatter on her face. Honestly, over the years and her life with the club, she was pretty immune to violence and gore. Her plan was to go home and break every bone in the man's body until he gave her the name of whoever paid him. Then she would proceed to sleep like a baby like someones lie hadn't just ended in her basement. "Well, perhaps I didn't do it for you but more for those kids. They didn't deserve to see that and I will find out who paid for it to happen."[break][break]
Lulu had a coldness to her tone as she looked down at the blood now staining the ground. "Yeah, we should go before the cops show up. Load up your siblings and follow me. I want you all to stay at my house until we can make safer living arrangements." The words she spoke weren't really optional but more of an order. Keith was going to join a very special club and Lulu would put him and the kids in a nicer exclusive apartment building where they would be safe.[break][break]
Leaving The alley her phone started to ring and she looked to see Johnny's picture on the screen. Swiping the screen she held her phone to her ear. "What do you want Johnny?...." Lulu asked but hung up after a few seconds of hearing his unhappy voice. Once back with the Kids she picked up Jataya and carried her back out to the Van. 'Can I ride with Jataya?' Ellie asked still a bit sniffly from all the drama. "Sure you can princess. We are gonna have Ice cream and cake at my house. Does that sound fun?"[break][break]
Lulu smiled softly and the girl nodded excitedly before climbing into the van. Looking over at Keith she gave him a nod and got into the van to head to her home. It was about a twenty minute before they pulled into the driveway of the large home. Putting the van into park she got out and let the girls out and they ran to the front door. Grabbing her keys from her purse she noticed buster outside with a cigarette. Sophia had arrived there and the two were talking about whatever.[break][break]
Opening her front door she took the dogs and put them up as the kids all ran into her house. "Okay, guys if yall wanna watch a movie I have a home theatre upstairs and I even have a popcorn machine. Go pick something to watch out and Keith the ice cream and cake are in the kitchen. Be a doll and start that while I get changed." She spoke wit a smile as she headed to her room upstairs and started to strip outta blood stained clothing.
Keith hadn’t expected her to start talking about giving him and his siblings safer living arrangements. That wasn’t her problem to deal with. It was his and he felt a bit uncomfortable about a stranger just giving him things that he hadn’t worked for. But if he could move his siblings somewhere safe, maybe it was worth the while to hear her out. Walking around the corner he followed Lulu inside and back out to their cars.
Donnie and the boys jumped into his truck as Ellie asked to ride with Jataya. He smiled happy to see Ellie and Jataya being friends. He hated himself though for letting today happen like it had. “Ice cream and cake and it isn’t even their birthday. You guys are special.” All the kids smiled and Keith was glad for the distraction of sweet sugary foods. Seeing Lulu nod to him he nodded back and followed her to her place.
Getting there he noticed how large it was and couldn’t stop staring. How much money did this lady have? She had only moved here a month or so ago and he didn’t even know about what she did in the past. The intimidation was starting to climb as he parked behind her and followed her inside with the kids. Hearing her tell the kids about the theater room they all seemed to run off in that direction as she asked him to get their food. “Sure thing.” He said and walked into the kitchen. He took his time though looking for plates and utensils before grabbing the cake and ice cream.
Moving through the halls he could hear the movie playing in the room and opened it. All three boys were sat in the back row of seats as Ellie and Jataya shared a seat being so small. His heart melted at the sight as he walked in. Once everyone had a plate of cake and ice cream he left the room. Turning to the side he saw Lulu coming up, “So, what exactly did you mean about safer living arrangements?”

Honestly, she wasn't sure what she was doing anymore. This new job and new life were supposed to be her chance to become something different. For her own well being and for the kids to keep them sheltered from a bloody past. Instead, here she was stripping off blood-splattered clothing and staring at her reflection in the bathroom mirror. Seems the first chance she got it was back to the same ruthless cold natured killer in her past.[break][break]
Lulu had more blood on her hands than most of the fools and it was just a plain fact that she was feared more than most of them. Sliding on some old shorts and one of Johnns of t-shirts she headed towards the theatre room. Seeing Keith come out of the room she pushed the door closed and gestured for him to follow her downstairs. They needed to take care of the man in the basement. Headed down into the basement with Keith in tow she found the man and his blown out knees in a chair with tape on his mouth. [break][break]
Buster and Sophia were still there just standing in the corner talking like it was casual Friday at work. This kinda thing wasnt really out of the norm for people like them. "Find out who sent the guy after you then kill him," Lulu Whispered into an ear as she handed Keith the gun. Stepping back she wanted to see if this guy had the guts to follow orders. It was the only way she was gonna be able to wrap him in a fools jacket and make him a prospect.[break][break]
Not getting an answer he followed Lulu down to the basement. He hadn’t known what to expect, but the look on her face made him think it wasn’t good. His guard was up as he followed down the steps. Looking around Keith saw the man who had shot him. His knees were blown out and he was whimpering like a little pup that had been punished. Oh, he was gonna do more than that. But that’s when he noticed a woman and man in the corner just casually talking as if this was a friday night hang out.
Looking to Lulu he looked at the gun she placed into his hand. The surprise could be seen all over his face. The orders from her lips sent a shiver down his spine, but whether they were good or bad he couldn’t decipher. He looked at Lulu again, then to the other two in the corner. He’d never done this in the company of others before. But this wasn’t his first time in the rodeo. Donnie, Xavier, Tommy...they had all been witness to see Keith die at one time or another because his rival couldn’t take care of him in the ring. But this time poor little Ellie had seen and that made his blood boil. The grip on the gun got tighter as he walked over and ripped the tape from the man’s mouth.
Crouching down he peered up into the blurry tear filled eyes of the person and frowned. “You know… you put my siblings through a lot today. Now… each of them have seen me die. Except my little sister. That I was trying to keep from happening.” He placed a hand on the man’s knee and he screamed out. “Who the hell sent you? And maybe I’ll be kind and end your misery quickly.” His voice dropped in octaves as it became deadly matching the glare in his eyes.
The man screamed out more at the pain until Keith pulled his hand off and he sniffled. “I was just paid to rough you up… I just wanted some extra cash! Please, I’m sorry!” Keith rolled his eyes. “Boohoo princess.” His hand turned a dark charcoal grey as his hand armored up, his nails turning to claws. “Sorry, is far from what I want now. Who the hell paid you!?” His nails dug into the man’s other knee and he screamed out more. “Randy! Some fighter named Randy!” The man exclaimed as pain wash through him.
“Ortho?” The man nodded as he cried, “Yes.” “Well then. Thanks for the info buddy. Now go to hell.” Keith said and pointed the barrel at his head before pulling the trigger. Brains and blood went exploding as the bullet hit his cranium and ended his life. Blood splattered on his face and he stood up and wiped his hand on the man’s shirt to rid himself of the blood. “There’s a secluded part of the Hudson that no one goes to. Best place to dump a body.”

Right now she wanted to see exactly what kinda of person Keith was. Lulu had grown up as an outlaw in the Fools and had killed more than her share of people. Most of the fools had blood on their hands and it was just a way of life. Maybe then she could believe he would handle the truth about her past. How did you tell someone you wanted a life with that you had so much blood on your hands. That you slept like a baby in silk sheets after ripping someone apart and never had a bad dream about it. That your demons are far worse than just some blood you may have split.[break][break]
Leaning against a wall she was just a bystander just as Sophia and buster were. Buster wanted to know who the guy was but she didn't answer. It didn't take long before Keith got the answers he needed and then with a gunshot it was over. "Buster take out the trash, please.
