[attr="class","nthlftsybdytxt1"]Three weeks had passed since half of the club split and headed to start a new chapter in a neighboring state. Bastina had taken on her role as club president and Promoted Mouse to be her Vice. He was the one who had been her go to yes man from the get go. The guy who had helped teach her things she needed to know and she trusted him. At the right side of the table was Vince backing her up so it was a easy transition.
Still she had heard the rumors going around about the fools being weak and people not wanting to make their security payments. So the enforcers had been working equally as hard reminder folks why they didn't mess with the fools. In order to repay everyone for their hard work and to show the city that everything was business as normal Bastina had planned a barbecue in the neighborhood.
A little street fair outside their Fools dice club and for the members everyone would gather to hang out on the lot. Vince was working on the grill and she was busy setting out food with come of Mouses and Queenie's girls. Her eyes darted out to the bustle of the community outside their gate and to the members all starting to arrive. She had made a specific order to have all the Members bring whoever they may have been dating at the time.
Fact was after the explosion outside that they just chalked up to some idiot trying to make a name for them self. Bastina had contacted Fuego and it was all set to start bring in drugs to send out into the city. It turned her stomach but she didnt wanna risk pissing him of and getting any of her new found family killed. Moving over to the grill her arms wrapped around Vince's waist as she kissed his cheek."Looking pretty good there hot stuff."
Regina hadn't stepped foot on club soil in almost a month She was decidedly Missing in action all of that time. Texts had gone unanswered. Calls went to voice mail. What started out as worry over the club quickly unraveled into selfish self indulgance.
At first she didn't want to be responsible for leading Dylan the GADEM Hound straight back into the arms of the club. Sure they could handle themselves, but it didn't mean that she wanted to bring that kind of heat on the club.
The more she stayed away though, the more Regina began to cherish that sense of freedom. She had an identity that went beyond just the faded words that rode the leather hyde of her jacket. She had purpose more than just an alibi or an accomplice.
It was a sense of danger and excitement that brought her to the fools in the first place, but it that very danger that had her questioning it now. She didn't know what this complicated tragedy stirring in the depths of her ribcage was. Strong infactuation, or the first real love she had ever expierenced.
Everything in her life was a compartmentlized science. Order and controled chaos, the breath of a cool storm raging just beneath the surface of quite composure and confident smiles. Regina moved up in front of the clubhouse. The iconic neon sign out front read Fools Dice Club. It blinked beside a little hand painted sign that said knock if you dare.
One of Buster's little jokes. She had on a black low cut shirt and a pair of jeans. Her prospect jacket was balled up in her clutched fist. She didn't don in across her slender shoulders. Even if she had honestly wanted too she didn't think she deserved too at this point. She wasn't here for William going nuts and the club fallout against GADEM....
She thought a single agent at her doorstep was a problem when the club had been battling against GADEM the whole time. She was stupid. She should have seen it. She saw everything, noticed everything! Why couldn't she have seen it? Mabye she didn't want too. She wanted so desperately to believe that her leaving was actually good for the club she talked herself into it.
Her foot crunched along the gravel as she walked up to the gate. Pushing it open she stepped inside, the tint of a familiar smile on her lips as she put on a show for the boys. She was the girl who couldn't be shook. At least by reputation, she didn't want anyone to know that the super computer with a answer for everything, suddenly wasn't sure of anything anymore. Across the way she saw the girl who was to be the new king in charge of the fools. Okay, she thought. As she walked right up to the boss.
Mouse sat on the steps with a brew in hand. The coolness of the bottle felt pretty nice. It was fucking hot out. He ran the bottle over the back of his neck. There were tears in the knees of his jeans and his bulging muscles looked like they were ripping through a thin black tanktop he wore that had the words 'Live Hard Die Harder' across the front.`
The Fools were throwing a party for all the members who decided to stay in Detroit and be loyal to the Detroit Chapter. It was no surprise that Buster went with Johnny. Him Johnny and William were thick as fucking thieves and went way back.
Shawn decided to stay, though he was so straight laced and serious all the dam time you could hardly expect to see him at an event like this. He wasn't one for partying and drinking, though he was a good earner. He stayed out of trouble and he kep the books always in the black. The chaos of the club split gave a few members a chance to try and slip their responsibility to the club.
Marco for one, no one had seen that guy in fucking eons and Go-Go... A sexy little prospect who Mouse had more than once offered a role in his films. Still, there was Kenny, and Vince and Brad and himself. Membership was low but it wasn't non fucking existant.
Mouse closed his eyes and leaned back. Running the coolness of the bottle over his neck and leaving beads of condensation over the hot sticky skin. He could hear Kenny cursing at a keg. Dumbass was trying to open it with a hammer. Mouse shook his head and laughed. He was probably stoned off his ass. Kid was always stoned.
Mouse wasn't expecting a plus one to show up for him. Not that he cared. Mouse could take or leave company, he wasn't a lonely man and he always had a warm body to fill his bed at a moments notice, but it didn't drive him. It wasn't something that was the end all be off of his existance. Mouse stood up and downed the rest of his beer and tossed it in the trash as he walked past Kenny.
"You need a tap for that dumbass." He said gruffly. Kenny stopped and watched him walk by. The blades slipped out of his knuckles. All of them retracted except the one above his middle finger. Mouse moved around front and saw Go-Go talking to the boss. His eyes narrowed at the obvious confrontration.
Off to the side he saw Shawn walking in with Lara, his arm around her... Everyone knew that she was the prospect he claimed as his own and now she was to be a full fledged member. Our numbers are growing. He thought. Mouse looked over at Sabrina, another prospect recently turned into a full member. "Some party huh?" His voice was unimpressed and dry. She smirked. "It's just getting started." Mouse nodded in agreement and picked up another beer. The man could drink. Two beers in wouldn't even dent his ability to stand. 15 beers later he might be feeling something.
Matt woke up to the annoying caress of the sunlight streaming through the window, his head was rolling over in a dull thud and the world seemed almost too bright. His squinted gaze glared at the doorway that inevitably led to the space beyond the stairs where he knew empty bottles of whatever he could lay his hands on littered the floor. His mind was foggy at first, Matt extended his arm to draw Go-Go’s heat to his chest but he was met with the empty space beside him. It took a few long moments for him to realize how absent she really was, “son of a bitch”. He groaned painfully grasping his thudding head for a second before sliding out from the covers with a glare he knew she couldn’t see.
Matt wasn’t a stranger to her uncertainty towards her loyalty to the fools, he also knew the assholes were throwing some flashy get together and she wasn’t too comfortable with the idea of attending. He almost fell over at the struggle of shoving a pair of jeans over his legs but he managed to catch himself on the table, the bullet holes in the wall of his apartment still fucked with his temper. Repaying that stick figure fuck for his invasion easily dipped to the bottom of his priorities when he could spend his time admiring Go-Go’s flesh.
He honestly wanted to shove her off a cliff, given there’s a body of water below, simply for sneaking out like a fucking criminal. Matt grabbed his keys on the way out, not even bothering to tame his messy hair before slipping outside. The bar was messy but mostly because some dick fucked with Stacey, the new girl who took up waitering for an extra income. Girl got rattled, asshole got a rock to the nose and a bottle to the back of the head. Matt didn’t expect to see his stubbly double chin coming back any time soon.
He was barely out of the door when he turned back and ducked over the bar, Matt shoved a few aspirins down his throat and worried about swallowing the awful taste as he slid into the car. Matt honestly wasn’t a bad driver by default but he didn’t give a shit about the rules of the road, instead he eagerly swerved through traffic with his foot pounding on the fucking gas. He wasn’t sure he wanted to see her less than legal asshole buddies but he also didn’t want to leave her alone. Matt hated that he couldn’t resist the urge to run after her like a fucking lap dog, he cancelled the thought out with a boisterous cussing episode at the guy barely inching forward in front of him.
Matt groaned seeing far too many people for his hungover mind littering the street so he pulled the car to a stop in front of some or other shop, he would have read the sign if the sun wasn’t reflecting painfully off the bold letters. Matt had the coordination of an asshole as he bumped nearly three people on the way to what he knew was the club, only because Go-Go told him and he wanted to know where to look for her if she decided to rob him blind, he chuckled softly at the thought.
Matt almost felt intimidated by the bunch of assholes littering the property, hell, he wasn’t excluding himself as an asshole either. He tried spotting Go-Go from the outside, when he couldn’t see shit past some bulky fella, he rolled his eyes and pushed open the gate with absolutely fucking zero regards who gave him shit about it. Eventually, he managed to spot Go-Go talking with someone else he hadn’t ever seen but goddamn these people knew how to pick the pretty ones.
Matt tried to keep his gaze focused on her, he didn’t want to strike up a conversation with anyone. His shoulder roughly brushed against some asshole with grey hair, he turned around with a cocky smirk and a light chuckle. These guys picked some goddamn gorgeous woman but who the fuck employs their greying grandpa.
“My bad princess, I’ll buy you a new one”, he nodded to the stranger’s shoulder for a quick second, he even offered a playful wink at the auburn woman with him before turning back to Go-Go. Matt knew he was better off keeping his mouth shut but he’d be fucking lucky if he got that right in the next forty years.

Today was the start of a new beginning. Offically they were to become what was left of the Detroit Fools. There were alot of familiar faces still hanging around the old club, but there were some new ones too. The big bad boss Bastina had been busy. A few of the newer prospects Shawn hadn't even gotten a chance to meet yet...
Though those who were prospects now retained full member jackets. He wrapped his arm tightly around Lara's shoulder. A beer in each of their hands as they enjoyed the party. Shawn was never much for parties. Wasn't his thing. He was the one quietly counting the money in the corner while the other fools got wasted and celebrated their minor victories.
Shawn was just more practical. Live Fast and Die Hard was a catchy slogan, but it was fucking stupid in the grander scheme of things. He didn't partake in drugs, though every now and then he would quietly slip into the sublte comforts of a bottle and allow the alcohol to rule him.
But hey, we all have our vices. It had been nearly a few days since he almost sent a racist ice cream paloror into the sinking pits of oblivion. He nearly tore the foundation from the ground on which it stood and drug the whole fucking place into the dark lands. He was no monster.
He was as evil as any man. He wasn't special or different. Within him fought the dauling war of light and dark personas that any human has battling in their head for control. Shawn took a sip of his beer. The taste was bitter and cool against his tongue.
He peaked an eyebrow over at Bastina, who was talking to Vince and Go-Go.... Shawn was a go getter. He only stopped by the club for meetings, a change of clothes or a refill of ammo. He was always punching the streets looking to bleed out a little more profit. He kept himself busy. So busy in fact, he hadn't had time to have a face to face with the new boss lady.
Later he thought. Let her enjoy the party. They could talk business later. He went to take another swig of his beer, when some asshole bumped into him... Nearly knocked Lara over. She spilled her beer all over her brand new Fool's Jacket. The cocky prick offered her a smile and a wink and called her princeess. Strains of black pooled around the palms of Shawn's hands.
He was seething at the disrespect. And that was the scary thing. It took so little for him to loose his temper these days. He was really loosing control in this struggle for his soul against the comforting pull of the darkness. "Hey! Asshole. You going to skirt right through without leaving your name? I'd like to know who's ass I'm kicking."
A tempting venomous voice dripped in his ear. Slithery and foul and carrying the weight of a thousand dark memories.... "RIIIPPPPPPP HIS THROAT FROM HIS FUCKING BOOOOOOOOOODY! BLEED HIM LIKE A PIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGGGGGGGGGG....." The voice hissed. He tended to agree this time. Not here. Not this fucking day pal. The black fumes rising from his hands all but engulfed them now.
It had been a pretty amazing three weeks since Vince actually figured out his feelings for Bastina. Sure, he was still concerned over the asshole who wanted to get his fucking name heard for making that explosion, and every day he went out to beat a few heads in for not paying protection. It was all the same, no one knew so it had to be someone they didn’t know. However, today wasn’t the day to be thinking about things like that.
Today is the day for a good old standard barbeque with himself as grill master. He stood in front, flipping burgers, steak, hot dogs and many more pieces of meat that they bought. He brushed some sauce on the steaks, getting the spices floating through the air. Everything was changing and Vince was starting to really like being Bastina’s right hand man. He never really thought he’d get this far up in the ranks, but he was happy to help during this splitting. It was sad to see his friends leaving for a bigger chapter of the Fool’s, but he understood.
He stood over the hot coals of the grill shirtless to keep from overheating in the summer sun. He took a swig of beer as he stood and watched the meat cook. Looking around he was happy to get everyone together. He smiled feeling arms wrap around his waist and soft lips on his cheek. Vince moved to pull Bastina under his free arm and kissed the top of her head. “It’ll taste even better than it looks.” He chuckled.
His Grampa had taught him everything about the grill and the right seasonings to use on certain meats. His thoughts were pulled back from the nice memories as someone he hadn’t seen for a while strolled on up. “Look what the cat dragged in.” Vince teased. “Had time to read your messages but not answer?” He asked. There was no judgement in his voice as he spoke, just some good humor and a smile on his lips.
But his mood changed as he heard someone yelling. Turning he saw Shawn yelling at some blonde guy. “I’ll go see what’s wrong over there.” Vince excused himself from the conversation that Gogo and Bastina needed to have and headed over to Shawn and the guy that just walked in. “Shawn! The hell is going on?” He wanted to try and make sure today went as planned so no ego’s would be tolerated.
Piper was so nervous as she looked herself over in the mirror. She wanted to make a good impression and she wanted to make Kenny happy. She already had the day off from work so she went through her clothes. She did her hair, her makeup, and smiled at the final result. Looking at her phone she rushed out the door and started walking.
She was happy for the bright sunlight and heat as she walked. She thought back to three weeks prior and smiled. Kenny definitely kept her on her toes. Well, when she wasn’t on her back on a bed that is. He knew how to get her going, and she was happy to find his little quirks too.
Walking up to the fence she had to scoot between a few people to get through. Already there seemed to be a fight being broken up, and she looked around trying to find Kenny. Her timidness started to kick in not seeing him right away as she stood there. Moving further in she heard something that sounded like metal hitting metal and she peered around.
A smile formed on her lips as a giggle escaped and she skipped on over. Kenny was hammering away at a keg and it was too damn funny. “I’m pretty sure you don’t use a hammer to open those up.” She spoke as she went to his side and kissed his cheek.
If this is to end in fire we should all burn together
It had been three weeks since Lulu and Johnny had left. Three weeks he kept himself busy with paperwork, and cases to keep the Enforcers out of jail. But not all of it was bad as he spent his off days with a wonderful, beautiful woman. Taking her to dinner, movies, he even gave her a nice spa day to herself. Hell, he’d do more for all the shit she’s gone through with that asshole of an ex.
Today though would be a fun day. A barbeque would be great for breaking the ice to introduce her to everyone. Besides, he needed to show more support to the club than just keeping them out of the cells. He didn’t have to wait for Novella for too long as she exited her apartment building and hopped on the back of his Dukati. He handed her a helmet and said, “Hope you like fast.” He teased and raced off to the clubhouse.
He swerved in and out of traffic and he smirked feeling Novella’s arms tighten around his waist. No one dared to honk at him as he raced through the streets with his jacket on full display. Sure there were the rumors of being weakened, but no one was brave enough to do anything about it. He zoomed down the middle of the street before pulling into the lot where he noticed Vince trying to get to the bottom of something and Bastina talking to Gogo.
Setting his bike up he threw a leg over the front and helped Novella off. “Let’s get you something to drink and eat.” He smiled and walked over to a cooler. He grabbed out a beer for himself and another for Novella. “If you want something different we can go inside and grab a drink there.” He stood up and handed her the beer.

[attr="class","nthlftsybdytxt1"]Over the past few weeks Bastina let Vince believe she didn't know who blew up her car and made the attempt on her life. She was to stir the pot and shortly after she took the new drug business to the table. Explaining her connection to the person that would now supply them with some of the finest blow. The shipment would be coming in a week and they already had a safe house and workers ready to bag it for sale. Came in handy owning half the local police force with blackmail and bribes.
Her zoned out attention changed when she heard Vince speaking to someone that wasn't her. Looking up she saw Gogo or that is who she assumed it was since she hadn't even met the girl yet. Hell she had just Recently met the gray haired guy she now called grampa Willis. "You must be Gogo. You get amnesia and forget you're supposed to be here helping the club." Bastina asked in a casual tone with a smile on her lips. "If you hadn't gotten the memo you were promoted to a full member. I know what a honor right?"
Hearing all the yelling and seeing Vince walk over she gestured to the new comer. "Is that why you've been gone? He must be yours since he showed up right after you. Give him that prospect jacket because hes now one of us." Bastina didn't wait for a argument she headed over towards Silver shadow and the new comer. "Now I know you two boys aren't going to ruin my special day of chill time I worked so hard on." Her glare mostly laid on Grandpa Willis but it did go to the blonde haired man. "Welcome to the Fools Dice Club. You must be the thing that kept Gogo away and we cant be having that so your girlfriend has your new prospect jacket. Welcome to the family pretty boy." There was a smirk n her painted lips as she stood next to Vince. "Now grab yourself a drink and meet some of your new family." This wasn't a suggestion she was making it was a basic order and she turned and walked away from the group before they had a chance to argue.
Matt held up a palm to quiet out Shawn’s loud voice, it was a heavy load against his thudding head. “Turn it down a notch old timer, I’m only passing through for a second”, he rubbed the back of his head in a useless attempt to drown out the headache but it wasn’t fucking working. “I’m not in the business of fucking up old dicks, not in the mood either”, Matt knew he was pushing it, he had no filter when he was absolutely sober without a throbbing headache but in the aftermath of a damn good night he was brutally honest.
“Oh great”, Matt rolled his eyes at a new face approaching them, he didn’t have time for this. He was gonna get Go-Go and get the hell out, he knew he was an idiot for thinking it’d be a smooth ride. Still, he was planning on spending the whole day trapped in the sheets with her until he figured out she left him behind to sign her resignation to the fools alone. Oh well, he wasn’t too bothered by a new bruise or two as long as he landed a good punch or two.
Matt’s brow lifted to the words flowing out of another stranger he didn’t know, girl carried authority and intimidation like a badge, he kept the cocky touch to his smirk with ease. He kept the grey asshole in his peripheral with a cautious glance, he didn’t wanna end up being caught off guard If it came to it. Matt tried to spot Go-Go but his attention was anchored to the ballsy girl he faced with a look of intrigue and defiance washing over his features.
“Already got a sister, don’t need a new one. I’d tell you to shove it but I’m trying to be civil”, Mathew wasn’t exactly eager to be a part of the fools. Hell, he hardly even gave half a shit what they did in the community, he cared about himself, his sister and recently the Brainiac who washed his mind with a new set of feelings. These people didn’t mean shit to him, and she expected him to roll over and call them family. Fat fucking chance.
“She’s fucking with me right?”, he watched her walk away and turned to Vince with an annoyance washing over his features. “You guys are fucking nuts”, a light chuckle slipped through his lips as the hangover shifted to make space for his newfound confusion. Figured he’d get mixed up in this whole mess after he ended up running with Go-Go. Still, he was slowly preparing himself for a good old punch, maybe he deserved it, doesn’t mean he should take it willingly. Matthew didn’t try pushing his luck further though, instead he hoped Go-Go would shake him from his drunken stupor and it’d all turn out some fucked up dream his complex mind developed through the night.
Go-Go stood there listening as Bastina laid the course of the land. She had set the foundation, and expected Regina to pick up a shovel and get to work paving the rest of the road on her road to the top. She didn't want to be a grunt doing grutn work. Her life was more than that. It was worth more than being some petty two bit criminal.
She had an arguement dancing on the tip of her tongue. Some clever retort that could sever her from these distasteful ties, but instead Bastina walked off. Uninterested in the retort or anything else Regina had to say for that matter. Go-Go blinked a few times watching with stunned silence.
She had played this scenario out a thousand times in her head on the way over, but she never expected Bastina to have such a pair of balls. Go-Go was fresher blood. She wans't around in the time where Carson ran the fools. She had never even met Carson.
She didn't have the bonds of brotherhood or the earned loyalty through blood shed and lives saved in the thick of the shit. She hadn't rumbled with the fools in the depths of nasty undertakings. She had done some criminal shit, but every fool had a way of earning. Mouse had his studio...
Mostly it was going in his own pocket, but he spliced out a bit for the club. Buster was always deep in street races, Shawn was an enforcer and Go-Go... She had always helped balance the books. Her beautiful brilliant mind was capable of taking any shady operation and making it look legitmate on paper.
She was the club book keeper almost from day one. At least under Johnny Rome. Johnny was all about the parties and the lifestyle. He let her have all the leesh she wanted and didn't command attnedence as long as she was keeping the club in mind. For a while that was enough for her. She got to dip her toe into dangerous waters for a bit of rough thrills and shady companionship, but it was never supposed to be permenant.
She just got caught up in the notion of doing something reckless and crazy. So much of her life was ridgedly orginized and predertimed through complex equations her brain calculated weather she wanted it too or not. Sometimes a girl just needs a little excitement.
And Regina was prone to making rash crazy spur of the moment decisions. Like taking her prospect jacket in the first place. She watched Bastina walk off with a confident stride and followed her sauntering step with a watchful eye. Her eyes widened when she saw Matt. Christ what the hell wasn't he doing here?!? With a conscious effort she reduced the adrenaline trying to crash it's way into her bloodstream.
She slowed her breathing and hurried along. He was starting to argue with Silver Shadow. One of the club enforcers. He was an enforcer because he was good a breaking bone... And bolstered egos. 'Jackass.' She thought rolling her eyes at Matt's stupid pride. Regina grabbed Matt by the arm and drug him away from the scene. Around the side of the club and she shoved him up against the wall.
"HAVE YOU LOST YOUR FUCKING MIND?!?!?" Her tone wasn't sweet or laced with seductive foreplay... It wasn't the Go-Go he was looking for. She was called Go-GO because when she partied she only had one mode. go go go... Now she wanted to rip his fucking face off for being foolish enough to walk in here.
Now he was never going to leave. It was her very same mistake only he did it for love. Stupid dick. Her face softend and the corner of her lip pushed up in a little half smile. She couldn't deny she was flattered he cared enough to come seeking her out, but it was stupid. "You trying to get yourself killed tough guy? Because they'll bury you. I wanted to do this on my own because if i failed at least I wouldn't have drug you into my mess."
She looked away and stared at the ground. "Seems like I'm always dragging you into my messes." There was a bit of self pity in her voice before her eyes flicked back to him. "Why do you even care, Cowboy?" She asked with a hesitant relunctant needing for clarification. She wanted to know that he didn't just fuck himself purely for lust and perhaps it was something more.
She still held her prospect jacket in her hand. Looking down at it her fingers gripped the leather anxiously. Her hair rained over her face, masking it and her more valunerable emotions. Regina could stop any emotion cold. Fear, anger, bliss.... She could shut it off like a switch, but when it came to Matt her emotions were in control of her.
It was insanely liberating to have a deeper part of herself unfeathered by the weight of her own self regulation. He hand swam up the side of his cheek and she pushed him against the wall. Lips lingering dangerously close to the posion that suckered him in, in the first place. "You're a fool now. A god damned stupid fool." She whispered and shoved the prospect jacket into his burly hands.
Kenny was away from the drama. Around the backside of the clubhouse about ready to give up on this keg. Tossing the hammer at it in frustration... It lazily sailed against the side and rang out with a hollow lifeless ting. Kenny sat on the keg and looked up when he heard a voice. A smile washed over his face instantly.
Standing up he flipped his backwards cap around. "Hey! You made it!" Kenny sounded surprised, and he was. Usually when he hooked up with a random girl that was it. What suprised him was how excited he was to see her again. Piper didn't strike Kenny as Fools material. Not that they did a whole lot of talking on that first day they met. They didn't exactly get to know each other on a deep level, just a physical one.
But for the most part she struck him as a sweet and normal innocent girl. The kind of girl that wouldn't put up with his cocky badboy shit for very long, but for some reason she was here. He had mentioned this party back on that first day. Now he walked up to her and threw an arm around her shoulder. Looking back he could see a few of the fools arguing with someone.
Wasn't his problem. The boys could handle it. It was one pretty boy dick against an entire clubhouse. If they needed Kenny to stack the odds they were a bunch of bitches. Still, he paused long enough to make sure and Bastina walked right up on the mess and it disolved like sugar in water. He shrugged. "Come on babe. I'll give you a tour of the club." He said ready to show her the life of a fool. Not knowing yet that Bastina would plan on making her a member.
Lara hardly had the energy for a whole get together with the rest of the fools, she didn’t mind the idea of having fun but she was exhausted in her efforts to try and hide the sight of a future showing spirit from Shawn. They hadn’t talked much about what happened at the ice cream parlor, she confessed about trying to test new borders of her abilities but she didn’t divulge why she was doing it. She hadn’t admitted to seeing his death in the future, and in an effort to stop it she’d been practicing to force her abilities to a new level where she could fully harness the capabilities she possessed.
She felt comfortable under the warmth of Shawn’s arm, it was almost as addictive as the bitter taste of the beer she welcomed to her lips. Lara knew she should have been more excited at the idea of being made a full member but it wasn’t exactly like the world drew to a full stop and everything absolutely changed. She was still as much herself as she used to be, did the same shit the club would as of her with the same loyalty as she did before but at least she wasn’t a prospect anymore and it was somewhat comforting.
Lara felt herself lose balance, her eyes rolled annoyed at the sway of her feet and the cold touch of beer spilling over her. Her eyes lit up in a glare at the asshole she didn’t recognize, it annoyed her more than it pissed her off but she was no stranger to the dips in darkness Shawn was victim to more than usual these days. Her fingers reached down to embrace the warmth of his fingers against the cold of her skin, she wasn’t blind to the black fumes rising his hands.
“Shawn”, she warned him in a whisper fearing he’d show the vipers the freedom they begged for, her eyes narrowed into a smug glare towards the stranger as her lips tilted into a cocky smirk. “You look just about smart enough to know when to walk away, just fuck off before you get hurt”. She grinned with a confident glint to her gaze, her mind felt utterly relieved at eventual turn of events.
Lara fully laced her fingers into Shawn’s at the sight of Go-Go and the stranger, apparently now a prospect darted around a corner. She looked up at Shawn with a playful wink and a soft tug at his fingers, “you’re hot when you’re angry”, her lisp parted in a soft chuckle at the humorous intent of her words.
her other hand reached out to grasp the beer in his hand with a sly grin, “and since you’re busy frowning I’ll just go ahead and take this”. She lifted the glass of the bottle to her lips with a soft sigh of content and a sly glint to her gaze as she looked up to Shawn. He was the biggest bonus to her interlaced connection to the fools, practically the only reason she woke up grinning like she tasted the ecstasy of heaven.
Since his move to the states Ingram now wondered what it was he was going to do to keep himself entertained. Ingram wasn't the sort of man that enjoyed company for very long, there had been few exceptions in his life and most of those had involved a large quantity of sex. Well, and taking photographs as a freelance for magazines and other places looking for good quality. But he had such a terrible temper he couldn’t actually keep a job with any one person. That’s when he heard the rumors about the Fool’s Dice Club. First it was their fearful reputation, and now that they were weak, hardly any force behind them. A smirk came to his lips as he decided to give them a little visit. [break][break]
There was the issue, of course, of coming off too cold. His patience for people was limited, even for those he liked, but he wasn't aiming to make lasting friendships. He just wanted a place where he could let go of some of this anger. Becoming part of their club would help out with that in beating the crap out of fucktards that deserved it. He got up from his bed and decided to get dressed to make his much unexpected appearance. A small smirk on his lips as he pulled his hair back into a man bun.

Taking a walk had been a nice idea as he pulled up his camera to his eye and shot a few pictures. This was probably the only patience he could show long amounts of restraint for as a monarch butterfly flew by. Snapping a quick picture he looked at it through the slideshow and smiled. Reality had so much beauty, but it was pathetic with how hard you had to look for it.

Walking up to the fence he saw the neon sign as others had gathered around and he pushed his way through. He didn’t care if people got pissed. He was shameless in that and just gave no fucks about others. Looking around he smirked, and began taking photos. Ingram was happy to photograph the events that would lead to him becoming a Fool. Who wouldn’t want that glory? That instant recognition.
Matt was about two seconds away from another witty comment about the shit storm he stepped in to when he reluctantly followed after the harsh tug of Regina’s lead. He groaned softly at the harsh embrace of the wall digging into his spine but he wore that same cocky, nonchalant smirk he always had. He could hear she was angry and while it made his heart sink to his fucking toes, he chose to keep a façade of a cocky grin that dipped in light playfulness.
“If you didn’t sneak out like a criminal maybe I wouldn’t have been worried”, he challenged her with the clear words dipping through his lips. He was genuinely worried, he didn’t know what these assholes would do to her for her efforts to ignore them. Matt didn’t doubt his ideal to help her for a single second, he’d tear a hole into the earth’s core if it meant dragging her ass somewhere she could be safe.
“Does almost dying buy me a little make up sex cause if yes then I was definitely trying to get myself killed”, he chuckled lightly not wanting to break his mind at the idea of being stuck with these dicks for the foreseeable future until he ended up shoved in a shallow grave. Matt reached down to dig the skin of his fingers into the small of her back and pulled her closer until the words he uttered practically echoed off the skin of her soft lips.
“It’s not for a good time if that’s what you’re thinking. I wouldn’t be here if I just wanted to fuck you, I care about you Regina. I’ll walk through hell and back for you”, he wasn’t far from it. Being involved in a criminal organization wasn’t something he tucked into his bucket list, but he’d do it if it meant Regina had the freedom to chase after whatever was brewing between them.
He held her close, even in the heat flushing his flesh at the tender touch of her fingers against his cheek. Matt didn’t let go, he held her close to his chest for the entirety of the embrace. He dropped the jacket to the floor without hesitation, he’d pick it up after a moment basking in the addiction of her lips. Matt turned them around until he had her pinned against the wall and pressed his lips to hers for a hungry embrace of passion. One palm held onto the beautiful curve of her hip and the other pressed against the rough wall to stabilize himself against the sway in his head, the ultimate high of her kiss.
He pulled back out of breath and looked down at her with a charming grin, “it’s all for you”, he didn’t want to separate the warmth of their bodies pressed together but he also didn’t want to be caught out naked by the side of a building and he feared how long he’d be able to control himself if he stayed so close to her. Matt reached down for the jacket with a slight glare before swinging the heavy material over his shoulders.
“I already got shot at for you, might as well join the fucking fools too”, he joked lightly swinging an arm around her shoulders and holding her close. “What the fuck do we do no brainiac?”, his tone wasn’t worried but there was a sense of worry dipping in the recesses of his mind. He didn’t know what this meant for his future, or hers.
