Kenny sat in front of a department store. He had on a backwards cap and some sunglasses to cut away the harsh glare of sunlight. He was smoking a joint in broad daylight. He didn't care who saw him. The car was on, but idling as he sat there listening to sport center highlights. The debate on the radio was a lively one. Kenny was waiting in the car so he had it on as simple background noise. The heated discussion though drew his attention.
"Oh come on! The only reason he was able to slam dunk from half court was because he was mutant mikey!" "Does that make it any less impressive? If you're just joining us. Daniel Lambdero of the Detroit Pistons had his first game last night. The first mutant professional athelete in any sport and some people are kind of upset about it." "Kind of upset? Are you kidding me? How is this any different than a player using steroids to get an edge?" "Because they're only using their god given talents." "TALENTS THAT NO ONE ELSE HAS!" "That's the point. Are you going to say Michael Jordan was cheating simply because he was born genetically better?" "Michael Jordan wasn't a mutant Bob!" "I beg to differ. That dude was a freak! Man he could ball!"
Kenny smirked. Looks like we're coming up in the world. He thought as he watched a woman cross in front of his car. It wasn't even really his car. It was stolen. He watched the shimmy and shake of the woman's ass as her cheeks swished side to side. Each step drawing him more into the hypnotic rhythm. Kenny's mind buzzed with the haze of a drug induced smile. He couldn't help it. Kenny was just a pothead through and through. He flicked the rest of his joint out the window and checked his watch. Yep. It was 5 o'clock. "Okay asshole time to fork over that money." Kenny stepped out of the car as a man was closing up his shop and locking the door.
Right on schedule. He saw Kenny out of the corner of his eye. Kenny smiled and waved at him with a half wave that was dripping with sarcasm. The man took off running. "Fuck. I hate when they run." Kenny sighed as he took off after him. Kenny had his fool's jacket across his shoulders. The cool leather flapping behind him as he ran. One of his sneakers splashed in a shallow puddle as he turned down an alleyway.
"Give it up Georgie! You're trapped. You going to pay me what you owe me? Or am I going to have to take it out of your fat ass?" Kenny said trying to catch his breath and doubling over with his hands on his knees. "Hey, afuck you aMr. Kenny. I no pay you shit!" Kenny frowned. "Georgie. I wanna be friends." He said walking over to him. Kenny's hands were on his hips as he casually picked up a led pipe from the dumpster and ran his hand over it. Inspecting it. "You some kind of tough guy? You don't scare me. You twig asshole!" Kenny shook his head. "See.... That hurt my feelings Georgie." He bashed the man's knee with the pipe and dropped it. The man let out a anguished scream and clutched his knee. The pipe clattering to the ground and rolling into a puddle. "......... Friends don't fucking talk to each other like that."
Kenny reached into the man's back pocket and took his wallet. Riffling through the bills he took out 60 bucks and tossed the wallet in the puddle. "You're 240 light Georgie!" The man continued to cry. "I don't ahave it Mr. Kenny. My daughter she sick. She needs medicine." Kenny rolled his eyes. He heard all this shit before. The excuses. In his experience they were never really true. "Yeah? If you're daughter's so fucking sick why are you dropping 300 bucks on estacy? It's not a wonder drug. That ain't going to cure Lizzies sniffles you thick fuck!"
Kenny gave him a swift kick and turned around. Pointing a finger back down the alley he added "I'm coming back for the rest Friday." He shoved the money in his pocket and stood at the entrance to the alley. His hair waved around under his cap. His sunglasses long gone. Fallen somewhere in the street while he was chasing the asshole who owed him money. He pulled out the 60 bucks and looked at it. Before looking up at a sandwich shop across the street. Fuck it he thought. I could go for a steak and cheese. Kenny walked across the street lighting up another joint. Cars honked at him as he clearly jaywalked and cut off their route.
They nearly hit them a few had to slam on the breaks. Kenny didn't look up he just flipped them off and kept walking. He yanked the door open to the sandwich shop and stood in line. Rolling his eyes he cracked his neck. "Hey you can't smoke that in...." The man started, but seeing his Fool's jacket he quickly shut up. Kenny looked around and saw people staring at hm. Let them stare. He had his own problems. That's when his eyes fell on her. She was god damned beautiful. Kenny leaned over and dropped his joint in someone's soda cup. "Hey!" The woman started but her boyfriend kicked her in the leg under the table "Betty shut up! He's a Fool" He whispered. Kenny didn't even hear it. He was staring at a goregous piece of god's creation in the shape of Piper. Hello beautiful he thought.
The morning for Piper had started like any other. Got up, bathed, did her makeup and hair, and headed out of the abandoned home for the day to begin. The plaid skirt she wore was just a little shorter than when she was younger. Hell, she was happy it still fit after all the years of running from GADEM. Keeping out of their radar now was crucial, and she did it for the better part of six years. Although she couldn’t really let her guard down.
Getting some breakfast she figured it wouldn’t hurt to wait in the break room of the little sandwich shop in which she worked. There she joked with her coworkers, just enjoying herself and the company. Piper was thankful that the owner of the store had been part of a mutant activist group and had equal employment opportunities. Otherwise she didn’t know where she would be right now. Taking a look at the clock she took over the cash register and greeted guests with a comforting smile.
The time seemed to pass slowly until around five o’clock. Usually the busiest rush that makes the time just disappear. The line was just starting to slow down a bit as the door opened. Piper’s dark eyes danced in the fluorescent lighting as she saw the man with the backwards cap and leather jacket. A light blush came to her cheeks as their eyes met and she gave a shy smile.
Brushing a piece of curled black locks behind her ear she watched as her boss was about to tell him to put out his joint and paused. For a moment she looked a little confused until she caught a glimpse of the logo on his arm. ‘The Fool’s Dice Club… oh my God.’ She thought. The shock was on her face for only a few seconds before she turned to the customer in front of her. Getting through everyone with a nice word and smile she finally came to the man in the back.
“Hi there, welcome to Billy’s Sandwich Shack.” She greeted and bit her lip a little. Her eyes danced with mischief and curiosity as she looked him over. ‘God he’s handsome.’ She thought. “How can I help you today handsome?” A finger twirled her hair as she waited to put in his order.
Kenny the cocky confident asshole stood there with a smirk on his face. Right. He was here in the sandwich shack. But he didn't want a fucking sandwich. Not anymore. What he wanted wasn't on the menus of Whatever the fuck sandwich shack he was in. He honestly hadn't even heard her little introduction.
He stood there with a slick smile and a glazed over look look. The pull of narcotics causing him to stand a little taller, be a little bolder. Kenny wasn't a shy guy. Not at all, but it was always funny to him when someone said the drink made me do it, or I don't remember, i was high. That was a load of shit and everyone knew it. A real man makes his own luck. Kenny smiled at the pretty young thing. He leaned on the counter. He beckoned her closer with a sensual finger. When she leaned in he whispered. His voice was low and a little rough.
The leather of his jacket jingled lightly as the straps and buckles hung down around his waist. He looked at her name tag. "Piper is it?" He asked nonchalantly. "That your boss over there?" He pointed to a chubby balding man with no hairline and all to much waistline. Whens he confirmed that it was Kenny leaned up. He had a stone cold look in his eye. The kind of look that said he didn't give a fuck.
He was a fool. He was used to taking what he wanted. He saw what he wanted. He just had to take it. Kenny walked around the counter, behind the spot where customers weren't supposed to go. He boldly pushed his way past the little swinging waist high door. Into the employee area and pushed her up against the wall. His hands ran up her sides and his lips pressed into hers with a growing numbness that started in his legs and ended on the tip of her tongue. His tongue explored the depths of her mouth and his eyes fell closed.
The were Fool screaming from his back at anyone stupid enough to stare at them. As if it was a flashing neon sign that said DANGER LOOK AWAY! Kenny was used to getting what he wanted, and if he was told no he honestly wouldn't know what to do with himself. His hand washed over the side of her face and he allowed his fingers to swim in her hair. They twirled around the auburn strands the same way she playfully did only moments before. Kenny's hand slid down the line of her jaw and rested just under her chin.
His hand moved across her throat as if he wanted to choke her. Instead he only roughly jerked her head to look him. He kissed her once more....Twice more every time she thought it was the end he couldn't help one more little taste. He turned her head back forward gently so he could have access to her ear. He could see her chest rising and falling. He could feel the trembling beneath his finger tips. His breath was in her ear now. "Let's get out of here kid." He whispered. He didn't wait for her answer.
He turned to her boss. "Piper's going on break now, she'll be back whenever." Kenny said raising a middle finger to her boss. Some pimple faced kid in the back who was dropping french fries into a frier stared slack jawed at the majesty unfolding before her. The pimple faced teen cheered silenetly and pumped her arms. This was a way better love story than twilight. It was a pure movie moment happening right in front of her eyes. Kenny scooped Piper up into his arms and kicked open the door. He walked right out of Bills sandwich shack with the only thing he was hungry for anymore. A good time.
Everything went so quickly as he leaned on the desk and said her name. Little shivers licked their way down her spine hearing it leave his lips and she bit her lip just a little harder as she nodded in confirmation at his question. Seeing the slight change to his expression she was a little worried, ready to place up a barrier until he was behind the counter and pushing her against the wall.
It was such a surprise as his lips moved over hers and she closed her eyes in bliss. Sure he smelled of marijuana, but she didn’t mind it at all. Her brain turned to mush as she gripped onto his jacket tight. She should’ve probably pulled away, been upset. All she could think about was his hands on her body, as she tried to get closer to him.
She could feel a tingling in her body that no one else had ever given her. Her breath hitched some as he put his hand around her throat. Her pulse beat so quickly she was sure he could feel it under his palm. She turned her head away for a breath and was turned back to face him for another brief kiss, then another and she just couldn’t get enough. This feeling of vulnerability and submission was so addicting.
Lust glazed over her eyes as she realized her body was shaking with anticipation and building passion. Her lips already becoming slightly red and swollen from the rough kisses. Her breathing heavy as she tried to regain some form of control over herself. But that was a distant thought as he whispered into her ear earning another shiver down her back. Before she could answer he had already turned to her boss telling him she was going on break and off she was whisked into his arms.
A soft giggle left her lips as she wrapped her arms around his neck and smiled. Oh today was going to be an amazing day. “So, do I get to know your name hot shot, or is that gonna stay a mystery?” She asked as a light blush dusted over her cheeks. She leaned up and kissed his neck some giving a little nip here and there. Leaning up closer to his ear she whispered. “Gotta know whose name to scream. Otherwise it could get awkward.”
Kenny had been here before. Plenty of times in fact. What used to be a rush was now kind of empty. The thrill of chasing a girl. Not that he wasn't glad he could get almost any girl he wanted He sometimes wondered if it was him or the reputation of the fools that had the "Game"
Kenny carried Piper could with a cocky swagger. He honestly didn't know a thing about the girl. It didn't mean that he couldn't get to know her a little better. Being truthfully honest this was the first girl he had picked up so ballsy. He had never done this before, but the end result was fantastic as he smiled against her words that promised good times ahead. "It's Kenny. Hope you're in no rush to get back to work because i plan on keeping you awhile." He tossed her a playful wink. If Kenny had his way she would scream so much she lost her voice.
He set her down on the sidewalk as they made it outside. Shifting his weight a little he looked around. People stared. Not because they had seen the ballsy display in the shop, from out here on the sidewalk; but because the words across his jacket.
He was an attraction everywhere he went. Looking at Piper he didn't think she really had a sense of who the fools were. How you lived in Detroit and didn't know about the fools was honestly pretty amazing, but she had a dangerous glint of curiosity in her gaze.
As if he were some mystery she was unraveling for the first time. Not a trophy fuck because who he was, or what he stood for, but someone honestly intriguing by his own merits. Kenny snaked an arm over her shoulder as they walked.
He pulled her head towards his with a dancing finger under her chin and gave her another kiss just for the hell of it. Her lips were addiction and he was in need. "Come on kid. Let's see if we can't go somewhere a little more private." He said as he pulled her along towards his car.
Piper had heard about the Fool’s. Hell, a few of her neighbors dealt with them for protection money, but she wasn’t usually the judgemental type. She was one of those girls that she knew the reputation, but she didn’t care. The reputation of a group was not the complete reputation of the individual in the group.
“Mm, Kenny. Cute name for a cute guy.” She winked and smiled. “I’m in no rush at all.” Her tone turned sultry as she smirked. Piper bounced on her feet a little as she was back on the ground. She felt a little self-conscious as people stared at them both, and she leaned closer to Kenny. She could change her personality on a dime, but deep inside she was just a timid little girl with a short temper if someone got passed her patience.
She looked up with those curious brown eyes of hers and bit her lip to hide an innocent smile. She didn’t want to be seen as just an innocent young girl though. Piper leaned in closer as Kenny placed his arm over her shoulders and her arm reached out wrapping around the small of his back. Her other hand grabbed the one around her shoulders in reflex lacing their fingers together.
She followed his steps as they walked and smiled as she felt his finger under her chin. She peered into those beautiful blue eyes before closing her eyes to enjoy his lips on hers. She rose to her tiptoes to kiss back and smiled into it. She was already addicted to those lips of his wanting the kiss to linger for longer.
“Mm, I like the sound of that.” Her voice soft as they crossed the street getting honked at by a few cars. Without looking away she flipped off one of the drivers and smiled. Getting to the car she walked to the passenger side and got in. “So, got any ideas where more private will be? If not we can always go to my place.”
Kenny slipped into the driver's seat of his car and smiled at the girl who was all but beginning for it. Yeah, he had the fish on the hook and dinner was giong to be scaled and cooked here shortly. Kenny turned on the car and lit up a cigarette. the smooth smoke drifting out the cracked window was a mild tobacco blend. "Which way?"
Kenny asked as he pulled out. Following Piper's directions back to her place, surprisingly Kenny was a bundle of nerves. He had done this a thousand times, but something about this girl had him shook. Something about the taste of her pouty lips had him craving more and more. He was having second thoughts as they pulled up in the driveway. He was second guessing it as they moved up the porch steps. Just get the fuck out of here man! He thought as the key went in the door and the knob slowly turned. Kenny wasn't the boyfriend type, but more and more he found himself already wanting to see this girl again after today.
And that just wasn't Kenny's style. He was hooked on something delicous and dangerous and lacking all reason. He was hooked on a crush and drowning in a feeling. Kenny licked his lips and twisted his hat slightly sideways. His thin shoulders relaxed as he looked around the place. The inner fool in him already sizing the place up and thinking about how much all her shit was worth in case he decided to rob her. "Nice digs."
He said spinning around and looking over her things. He picked up a very expensive vase and turned it over looking for a pricetag. It was rude and presumptious, but Kenny wasn't here for his manners. He was here for other things. Setting down the vase he slipped his jacket off his shoulders and tossed it on the couch like he fucking lived here himself. Turning back to Piper he took her face between his two hands and resumed where he was before. Lips playfully and teasingly kissing and evading...
Tongue dashing out for a sly taste before retreating away until he decided to strike again! Kenny grabbed her by the back of her thighs and lifted her. Piper's arms reactively went around his neck as he pulled her legs up around his waist. "Bedroom?" He spoke in short choppy sentences as he tried to get a word in between kisses. This was happening and he would decide after whether or not he was still going to rob her.
