Months had gone by and Samael was happy. He had his memories, he had a home and most importantly he had Andi at his side. He felt a slight regret though leaving the Fool’s the way he did. They still hadn’t known where he left to and that’s how he wanted it to stay. After getting the chance to leave Samael spared no time in gathering his things with Andi and leaving that god forsaken Circus.
However, it started to scare him that Andi wasn’t around in the mornings when he would be awake. Was it that she needed some time alone? Or was she still even there? Something in his gut told him something was wrong, but he couldn’t place it. He remembered being with her all these months. But he knew she could make memories out of thin air. Laying down in his bed for two he wanted to wait and see if Andi would return to cuddle. However, his eyes were tired and he fell asleep before noticing she wasn’t ever there.
His dream though was bright and vivid. The sea crashed against the shore as he stood there in his jean shorts and tank top. His wings spread out as he stretched and walked the distance to where water met land. There he saw her, but she looked different. Her hair wasn’t done, and her clothes weren’t her typical attire. It was almost like a prison jumper to him. Panic ran through him as he walked up calmly. When she turned his eyes widened seeing the dark circles, no makeup, and seeing how she practically fell into his arms had him so worried.
“Andi, are you okay? What happened?” His concern touched his voice as he slowly lowered them both to the fine sand beneath them. He pulled her gently into his lap and held her tight in his arms. His wings rose over them to provide some shade. Seeing how pale she was in comparison to how she had been just a day ago was strange. Panic started to rise within him. Those sweet memories he had of them having so much fun began to flood back and he held her a little tighter. This had to be a trick of his brain.
Brian pulled out a joint and stuck it between his lips and lit it up. He had been here for some time. With that he found that things went smoother if you just cooperated. He wasn't here for fun. He hadn't given up. He had just resided to the thought that no matter how hard he fought he wasn't getting out of here. Not on his own at least. Biran's ability didn't really lend itself to finding your way out of arm guarded captivity. It just wasn't in the cards for him. There was a janitor here. Jose.
He was a cool guy. He could loose his job and get deported if they found out that he was talking to the inmates at night, but he had clearances. It was America after all. Even in the most guarded of government facilities they liked to deligate the dirty jobs to the illegals. Jose snuck Brian a few joints through the gratings of his cell. Brian kept his joint stash in the vent where it wouldn't be taken away from him. He was more than sure they had seen him smoking on camera and no one had taken them from him yet, but he didn't want to loose his last little joy that he had to hold onto.
Breathing in a deep breathe of canibus he leaned back on his cot against the glass cell wall. "That won't do you any good." He told the girl. The barking and snarling had died down and in the quiet of the cells he could here her sniffing. Glanced at her out of the corner of his eye and saw her searching. Unless she was looking for a nice spot to pee, he figured she was more than likely looking for a wiff of fresh air. Some spot in her cell where the wall was weakened so she could maybe dig her way out. It just wasn't there.
Try as you might and wish as hard as you wanted you weren't going to find any kind of weaknesses like that. Not in this place. The agent with the bald head was meticulous and he wouldn't make stupid mistakes like that. Brian closed his eyes. He usually didn't have conversations with mutants. At least not in their mutant forms. He usually stripped their abilities away from them to have a conversation so they spoke as equals. It was about politeness, but now he just took another puff of his joint.
"Don't worry about your boyfriend. They'll bring him back. Drugged up and no worse for ware. They have to poke him and prode him and find out what makes him special. Because mutants like us..... We don't get to lead shiny happy lives. We're under the fucking microscope and it's all about finding out the answers to life's great mysteries. Humans can't just leave well enough alone. They have to snoop. I'm Brian." He said. He didn't bother to turn and look at Sophia as he talked. He saw her name tag "Biscuit? Heh." That was cute.
Brian stood up and got another joint from his vent and pushed it through the air vent that lead to her cell. "Scooby snack?" He asked. His eyes were half closed. There was no judgment on his face though a hint of a smile lingered there. He hadn't really gotten a good look at the girl before she changed. He knew she had dark hair and she was involved with the speedster. That's he really knew about her. Brian was wearing the same pale green hospital scrubs as everyone else. His face was paler though.
His eyes sunken in and carrying heavy bags. He looked like he hadn't slept in days. There were burn marks on his neck from electrodes being attached there and track marks in his arms from the various needles they stuck him with. He looked a bit like junkie. 5 o'clock scruff lined his face and he watched her with more interested eyes. Across from her boyfriend's cell he saw Andromeda's cell. Her cell looked empty to him as well. He didn't turn off her power.
She wanted her privacy and he didn't deny her that. Though he wished he could talk to Andromeda, if for no other reason that to have a little taste of the familiar. A little taste of home and to find some semblance of normal in this fucking place. Brian movd over to the wall nearest the observation deck. The place where the scientists stood with their clipboards and studied them. Like this were some kind of fucking zoo or something. He crossed his arms across his chest and looked back at Sophia. "So, what's your real name?" He asked curiously taking another puff of smoke.

I want to hear you calling my name. I know you want it in the worst way.
When G.A.D.E.M. had come for her she had protected and concealed Samael from them. He was her only weakness and she wasn't going to let him end up a prisoner because of being with her. Instead she had given him the illusion of them still being on the island but as her mental state had grown ragged she just didn't have the energy. In her perfect health she could maintain these illusions that she weaved like fantasies in dreams. When he finally showed up she was just out of energy and fell into his open arms. Her tired and weak body didnt resist being pulled into his lap and she wanted nothing more that to feel the warmth of his chest but it was just a dream and illusion. She could no more feel his touch really than hear his breathing. "Everything you know is a dream. I had to keep them from getting you to because my sins are not yours to bear."
Her weak voice spoke as she glanced up at his beautiful angel like wings. Her finger weakly touched his temple and in the dream they were back in the real version of their beach home. Busted down doors and broke glass from her struggle to keep them away. "I'm sorry but I just had to save you...I dont think ima going to make it outta here." Her tone dropped off as she closed her eyes and they fluttered in and out of consciousness. When her head fell to the side and her head went limp the iv connected to the back of her neck was visible and within moments her form faded into sand in his lap. Back at G.A.D.E.M the monitor of vital signs when off as her breathing got lower and lower then nothing. A flat line long beep was going off as the doctors and scientists came running into her cell.
They cut fabric away from her chest and paddles were placed on her which caused her bottle to jolt. Back in Sameals Dream she flickered in every time the paddles went off and caused her to jolt back to life for a moment. "I dont have much time. One of your fool friends is here i know his voice. Buster is here and you need to warn your club because they are planning to pick them off one by one." With a message delivered she vanished again as her eyes came open in her cell. Andi was quick to her feet and flinging people around with her power. The door to her cell was slowly closing but she stepped out of it and as darts of sedative few towards her she stopped them and sent them back into guards. Moving to a control panel for the cells she touched it and used her energy to short circuit it and cells started to come open.
There were alarms starting to go off but she used her hand to fling guards that came toward her trying to gain control of the prison break situation. One man fired off an actually bullet to try and end it and with a snap of her fingers he fell into a pile of ash. Her gaze moved to Mute in a cell but her eyes color had changed to that of black and darkness. Her other person started to walk away and disintegrate any guard in her path. She was headed down to find Sameals friend in the labs to save him from whatever fate he was being subjected to. Atleast she could get him free because she owed Sameal after taking his memories and taking him from the club.

When Buster woke up he was tied to a table. he struggled against his binds for a moment, but they were metal. he couldn't do much about it. in fact he had been fitted with heavy metal boots as well. Buster looked down at his feet. Hmm.. Stylish he thought rolling his eyes. He had no idea why he was wearing metal shit kickers but he had bigger problems. "Hello?' He called out. Then a female scientist came in. She was young, pretty.
just the type of girl Buster would have put the moves on if he had seen her out in public. 'Ah, you're awake. good evening Mr. Fleetfoot.' She said simply. She didn't seem to worried about his perdicament. Buster looked around and saw another guy operating a control panel. She nodded to the man and he pulled a switch. The horizontal table he was on rose upright and his binds release. Buster landed on his feet. He rubbed his wrists. They were slightly sore from being tied down to a table but he looked at Dr. Emma Meridian with her labcoat and clipboard.
"Big mistake doc. I'm about to turn this place inside out." Buster taunted with overconfidence. "Noooo, you're not Mr. Fleetfoot.' She nodded to the man again and his big heavy metal boots activated. the entire floor was metal. There was a little yellow light on his boots that turned green. Suddenly a heavy gravitational field kicked on and he felt like his legs weighed a thousand pounds each. 'You're a remarkable speciman. I've seen footage of what you can do. Super speed. That's a first here in our lab. you're truly one of a kind mister fleetfoot."
She said walking around Buster in a circle and eying him up and down. Dr. Meridian didn't hate mutants like the others. Her sister was a mutant. She only joined G.A.D.E.M. to see if she could find a way to help mutants. They had the biggest labs and the most money to toss at research. They didn't care about her motivations.
She was a brilliant scientific mind and they jumped at the chance to put her on the payroll. She was the top of her scientific field. 'My eyes are up here baby.' Buster snapped with a smirk. "Ah, you do that alot you know... Deflect uncomfortable situations with humor.' Buster glared at her. Buster wasn't entirely sure what was about to happen, but he stood flexed and at the ready despite not being able to move his feet.
Buster was still slightly groggy. He shook his head as waves of blurry vision hit him every so often. The room would clear up for a few moments and then back to blurry. he stood there looking at the doctor. 'Why am i here?" He asked her point blank. She stopped studying him a moment and looked at him. Tucking some hair behind her ear she placed both hands on her clipboard and clasped it in front of her.
"Because you're a scientific marvel mr fleetfoot. You have a chance to help us cure cancer! End blindness, the potential within your genetic makeup could be the difference between diease and a cure. I'm sorry about they way they took you. This should be strictly voluntary, but yet i don't make the rules.' She admitted. Buster raised an eyebrow at her. She was not one of the scientists that did painful experiments on mutants. She drew the line there. She began to take Buster's vitals unaware that a truly dangerous mutant was on her way to free him.

There was no chance in hell that she was giving up on getting out of this cell. The escape wasn't enough to trigger a try hard attitude but a chance to slap the fuck out of the arrogant son of a bitch that she apparently grown fond of. That was a powerful motivator and she watched as he vanished out of sight when the guards drug him away. Her attention did turn when she heard a voice from the mutant next to her.
Apparently he was determined to be stuck in this place but that wasn't her goal. Brian was speaking about them bringing buster back no worse for wear and it just make her wanna dig out even more. What were they doing to him? Not knowing caused the worst panic to set in. Then again the guy next to her offered her a dooby snack. Within moments she shifted back into a human form.
The pale green scrubs were laying on the floor from when she shifted. Grabbing the Joint from her air vent she lit it and took a deep drag. Never mind the fact that she was completely stripped naked in a glass bubble. Moving oer to the clothing she took her time putting them on before she finally turned her attention back to Brian. "Sophia." Was all she spoke when he asked her name and she moved around the cell.
In a few moments some alarms went off in what she had believed was a empty cell. Now a woman laid there stiff as a damn board and doctors where rushing in. Sophia watched them un amused at the woman's plight. Though it seemed like they made the major mistake and this believed dead woman was alive and making it to her feet. Gaurds where flung from the cell as this woman made her escape.
All the cell doors in this prison block malfunctioned and opened as the black eyes woman passed her. "Well thanks for the scooby snack Brian. I think my escort outta here just arrived." Sophia spoke as she shifted back into her dog form and trotted off towards the Labs. Her nose was to the ground taking in Busters scent.

Trying to keep a mutant of her caliber contained was a stretch on any good day. Her mind tricks would fool rookies into thinking her cell was empty and she escaped or some child was trapped there. You name the trick and she had used it on a lot of them that knew no better. Seems the only thing it took was a heart to stop beating and the shackles of their prison was being released. This woman who lead this escape was not a mild mannered and harmless Andromeda but instead a part of her she kept buried deep. Pure and raw power driven by impulse and emotion alone. It tore through the security as she peeled locked security doors open. The split like a banana under the force and made a chorus of wines and shreds.
For a moment she paused and looked behind her to see the form of a beaten up gray wolf. She could hear the thoughts of the beast and knew that she was aiding in the rescue of Sameals friend. Continuing on the assault she finally reach the enclosed lab area. Through a observation window she could see the black haired man strapped to a table. Dark black eyes watched the woman scientist who had never really been cruel to her but in the Alternates mind her crimes were just as bad. With a wave of her had the door of the room flew off its hinges and hit the wall a few inches from the woman. "Knock Knock...Please say who's there?" There was a smirk on her lips as her hand moved up and started gripping at the air.
Her power constricted around the doctors neck causing her to gasp before being thrown into a wall. Alternate Andi looked over at Buster and the wolf dog sophia as her free hand caused the shackles to fall off and the metal boots on the man. Her attention snapped when she sensed that the Bald agent and his rookie came speeding back to the sheer destruction. "Leave... Before you end up back in a cell. Tell Samael...i wish i could've seen our beach together." The woman spoke before turning her attention to the guards that now rushed the scene. Using her power she flung a table through the back window for Sophia and Buster to escape. A force field formed around them to help there escape.
"I cant hold them off forever... Now go!!!" Andi spoke before she pushed forward and flung the oncoming guards every which way. It was enough of a distraction for other mutants to escape before she felt pain in her body. Standing to the side was Samuel holding a silenced pistol and Andi looked down. Blood started to flow and stain her clothes before she finally fell to the ground. The remaining doctors came in and moved her to a table and off to operate and save the asset that was so valuable.
Hear my shapeless songs i'm singing and painting this morning light, bit by bit, hoping I'd get to that summer sky. I'm feeling alright I can see your palm reaching out to mine. ---In the orange sky, there is glowing fireflies.
Spending hours causing gasps and screams coming from the girl whom he had brought to his room left her tired in asleep in the bed. William had laid there a small bit with her but eventually he slipped out of the bed and pulled on his pants and The worn leather fools dice Jacket. It almost always made him feel naked if he wasn't wearing at least the one article of clothing on his back. Moving through the Club it was semi quiet and he stepped out the front door. Pulling a cigarette from the crushed pack in his pocket he moved around the grounds of the complex.
His phone started to buzz loudly and he irritably pulled it out while looking for his lighter. There were messages coming from a contact that made his blood run cold. Since the woman had left he had made sure the club wouldn't hunt her down and he even sent her money to make sure she was cared for. First love dies real hard but here she was saying she was in town. What he didn't know was that on the other end a certain Gadem Agent and his rookie partner had in fact nabbed his ex. What was supposed to be a night drinking had turned into a night of work when Samuel had seen the girl on her return to the club.
William slid through the thin crack in the Complexes giant and rounded the corner into a alley. Dialing the Number on his phone he listened to it ring but instead of a familiar voice he received a voicemail box and a sharp pain in his neck. His bodies reflex was to turn metal within moments and hearing someone approach his fist connected with the mans jaw and sent him flying a bit backwards. Though the Sedative was a bit strong even for the metal build of his body and he slumped into the wall.
A grinding sound of metal against brick was heard as he slid down the brick surface. Everything was so groggy and eventually he blacked out. His body turned slowly back into his human and fleshy state before he was drug off to some 89 rapist van to be hauled back to the labs.
@tag // Notes: Short but William DOESN'T have much to do atm.
Samuel spent a bit of time to finish his paperwork before he left with the rookie in his van to go back to the city and get drinks. It had been a decently productive day but he was already planing for the next chance to nab a member of this outlaw club. He was gonna find every damn one of them and make them vanish like a thing of the past. "Not to bad Rook, You might be a somewhat decent agent after your training with me." His tone was egotistical but that was generally his normal nature.
On the way to a local bar he had been seen at a few times he spotted someone walking down the sidewalk. She was outside at a bus stop and he pulled over to pull out a folder. 'Tiffany Hazel' The tab on it read and his hunch was right. "Looks like happy hour will have to wait." His gruff voice spoke as he slipped out of the van with a tranquilizer in a needle. Following the woman into the alley she quickly made pace on her but she turned around hearing the footsteps.
Her hand Grabbed his arm and it sent volts of electricity into him like the shock of a taser. When she did let go he stabbed the needle into her leg and pushed the drug into her system. It only took a few moments to fall but sam laid on the ground. Sure he had been subject to tasers in the past with training but they still hurt like a bitch. After a few moments he helped Ramona get the woman into the van.
"Keep the cuffs on her. Wouldn't want to fry your cute little face off." Sam spoke with a smirk to ramona as he puled out the girls phone. Driving to the fools complex he waited and couldn't believe his luck. One of the fools stepped outside alone and he searched the contacts of bebe's phone to send out a few texts. When the phone in sam's hand started to ring he headed into the alley after the Unsuspecting fool.
A dart was fired and he got knocked on his ass for the second time. "Dammit I'm getting to old for this shit." The voice that came from him was annoyed as he made it back to his feet. Helping Ramona nab the second Mutant and put him in the van, He slid into the driers seat. They were already headed back when over the radio it seemed like all hell broke loose.

You didn't have to ask Buster twice. He grabbed Sophia and hauled ass. Breaking through the sound barrier running faster than the speed of light. Everything around him blured to grey and black. He had to make sure he craddeled Sophia in just the right way becase these were in fact break neck speeds. Her body wasn't used to go in this fast. A sudden stop from this speed and the whiplash would send her head into the next county while her body slumped in his arms. When Buster did finally stop running they were in Canada.
There was snow on the ground. Buster set Sophia down gently and realized he didn't have his jacket. He was still in these ugly fucking scrubs. He wasn't going back for it. It was blasphamey to leave your jacket behind, but that jacket didn't mean more than her life. He had left his ring back there too. A knot twisted in the pit of his stomach. Buster wasn't thinking about anyone or anything other than his own selfish needs. "You okay?" Okay, so he offered her the curtesy of asking if she was okay. Buster was still kind out of it.
The drugs they had in his system burned off faster when his cells were moving at super speeds but he got to Canada in a few seconds tops. Still the shit they had him on was strong! They knew about him, and his abilities. This wasn't some random assholes who grabbed him. They were looking for him. They had thos nifty fucking boots made just for him to keep him in one place. This was personal. Buster ran out of there the first chance he got. Blink and you would have missed it. Sophia was standing in front of him. Buster's hair was wild and unruly. He smoothed it down but it didn't matter. Snow fell in his hair and he shivered at the cold.
H was standing on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere Canada. At least they were safe. Suddenly a little stationwagon came pulling up down the road through the slushy sleeting street. Buster turned and eyed it cautiously. G.A.D.E.M. probably didn't have an agency in Canada, but he wasn't taking chances. HIs fist balled up ready to strike. He tensed his body. His muscled ached with anticipation as the car pulled up on them. The car came to a stop right in front of them.
The tinted window slowly rolled down. More snow complied in Buster's hair. It all seemed to concentrait on his curly cue that twisted down in the frot of his slick back hairstyle. Buster watched with bated breath as a face appeared behind the window. It was smiling. It looked goofy. "Hello ey! You folks lost or something? You look mighty cold eh. My name's Max. You folks need a ride?" Buster smirked. One second later they were driving down the road. Buster sat cooly behind the wheel of a piece of shit stationwagon. Max was on the side of the road with his pants pulled down and his arms tied behind his back, around a tree.
Buster even pulled his shirt up over his head and honked his nose just for the fuck of it. Screw it. Some other busy body Canadian would come along and help out good old Max. "We gotta lay low." Buster said checking the rearview mirror. He looked over to Sophia in the passenger seat. He could see the disapproval on her face. "He'll be fine. It's Canada. Everyone is annoyingly friendly here." Buster pressed play on the radio. He heard some polka music and couldn't help but make a face at it.
"What the hell is this shit?" Fucking with the stations a bit he found some metalica and slouched back into his seat. He just wanted to shut his brain off for a bit. He just wanted to try and focus. He couldn't seem to think straight with these drugs still rampagin through his system. Why hadn't they worn off by now? Buster sighed. He stole a glance at Sophia again. He said nothing. He was avoding the serious conversations he was avoiding anything real. He still had to process everything. Super speed didn't mean super quick recovery from the shock of a lifetime.
